I observed a green Honda Accord traveling west on Washington Boulevard directly past our patrol unit. I saw the vehicle did not have a front license plate in violation of CVC 5200(a)-No front license plate. The vehicle continued westbound on Washington Boulevard and pulled into the northwest parking lot of the Kings Villages apartment complex. I made a U-turn, activated my overhead lights/siren and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the northwest parking lot (1141 N. Fair Oaks Avenue). As we pulled in behind the vehicle, the driver (later identified as Suspect Davian Thomas) exited the above vehicle (California license plate #4GCN238).
RELATED CASES: None SUPPORT DOCUMENTS: None On 01/21/2016, Daniel Ruther contacted the Pasco Sheriff`s Office by telephone to report a Petit Theft. Mr. Ruther advised between 1600 and 1700 hours on 01/20/2016, an unknown suspect stole the tag off of his flatbed trailer while is was stopped in traffic at the noted intersection. He said he did not see who ripped the tag off of the trailer, but he felt his truck shake while he was sitting in it.
Seconds after, a traffic officer comes in from nowhere, he is checking and reading time card receipt in every car parked on the road. He stops by the LTB van and after finding missing display of the time card on the dashboard, he looks up and down the block and after soon after that he scans the registration and started writing the traffic ticket. At the exact time I took his picture attached (Exhibit 1). (The officer show his displeasure for taking the picture and inquired, if the van is mine. On my saying no he tells me, let me do my job and I must stay out of it).
CASE CITATION: Maryland v. Pringle, 540 U.S. 366 (2003) PARTIES: State of Maryland, Petitioner / Appellant Joseph Jermaine Pringle, Defendant / Appellee FACTS: On August 7, 1999, at 3:16 am, a Baltimore County Police officer conducted a legal traffic stop on a Nissan Maxima containing to Joseph Pringle for speeding. Three people were in the vehicle, with Pringle in the front passenger seat. The police asked the driver, Donte Partlow, for his driver’s license and the vehicle registration.
Just the other day a BPD officer took only look at my car and for some reason decided to speed up to me but just as I thought I was about to get pulled over, the officer changed lanes and pulled up to the side of me. Once he was exactly on the side of my car, the officer braked hard to stay exactly on the side of my car; afterwards, the officer simply stared at me. Hundreds of things ran through my mind about the reason this officer was acting the way he was that night; my lights were on, I wasn’t speeding and I wasn’t driving recklessly. This officer backed off as soon as he saw my badge attached to my uniform which made me glad that I didn’t change once I got off work. That experience brought to mind and to the mind of hundreds of citizens is racial profiling.
Of course littering is not right and no one should do it but sometimes that bag of food just makes the car smell really bad and they have a long drive and need to get out. The best solution would be to try to find a near trashcan but if they aren't near one that's just what happens. Everyone has been a couple minutes late to work and speed a little bit, just that they aren't too late, but why should they get a fat ticket for trying to get to their job on time to feed their children, themselves at home, but no now they need to pay an even bigger bill. The Enforcement is just looking for someone to get in trouble they don’t care if it's a criminal or an honest mistake by a good citizen, because the enforcement gets paid either way
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn vs. The Adventures of Huck Finn Have you ever had a friend that would risk their freedom for your safety and well-being? This situation occurs in the book, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” written by Mark Twain. The main character named Huck experiences this feeling with his runaway slave friend named Jim. Jim is considered a runaway because he belongs to a women named Mrs Watson. Huck has an issue with this because he comes from a very civilized branch of family, and would be frowned upon to be helping a slave become free.

Imagine driving home from a long day, minding your own business when all of a sudden you notice a state trooper behind you with their lights on. What do you do? Do you panic or act natural? In today 's time, it doesn 't matter if you do anything wrong or not. It could be the color of your skin or the way you act and move!
The driver behind you accidentally hits your car. You pull over to check what damage was done and to sort things out but the driver that hit you drove off. You are annoyed and mad because now you are going to have to pay for the repairs. Little did you know that the driver that hit you was an illegal immigrant that could not get driver insurance because they don't have a license to the money to pay for the repairs. They had to decide whether to pay for your repair or to feed their family waiting at home.
I would be very calm and show the person who stopped me that there is no reason for profiling me, because getting angry and being difficult only makes things worse. I feel that there is no escape from racial profiling especially in these tense times. Bob Herbert’s article, “Jim Crow Policing” Publishes in the New York Times on February 2, 2010, states that “The New York City Police Department needs to be restrained”, and I believe that his evidence shows this to be true. The author goes on showing statistic after statistic about the type of people that are stopped by the NYPD and more importantly their nationality. Bob Herbert is not writing this article to bash the NYPD, but to educate the people of America that although we may think racism and humiliation is gone, in New York it is still very prevalent.
In “The Social Construction of Disability,” Susan Wendell briefly discusses how the fast pace of American life impacts the social construction of disability through an inability for people with “disabilities” to maintain expectations of a high-performance level. Wendell also claims that the pace of life causes disability in many people’s lives, but quickly moves on to another topic, referencing chapter four of Barbara Hillyer’s Feminism and Disability in the footnotes as a place for more information on this argument. In Hillyer’s chapter “Productivity and Pace,” she writes to the feminist and disability communities, analyzing how the pace of life affects them both in similar ways. Through an analysis of how people with disabilities are forced to set their own daily pace, Hillyer hopes to encourage others to learn about the necessity of slowing down.
Acknowledge the officer is doing their job, and again do not take this encounter personal. Is it an inconvenience? Yes of course it is, but the encounter will not last forever. Help the encounter to end sooner by being pleasant or cordial. If the citizen decides to take the contact personal, their attitude will not be cordial or pleasant.
Altruism theory can basically be defined as an act that an individual performs, in order to benefit someone else. Altruism can also be known as Ethical Altruism. Furthermore, this specific theory speaks about the good deeds that an individual would undertake to help and benefit someone else, even if it requires the sacrifice of self-interest. The action that the individual would tackle would consider being morally right if the result would benefit the recipient than the person actually conducting the action (Mastin, 2008) . Majority of the time these actions that are performed by individuals are not only about doing good for other personnel but also to protect these persons them from being harm or getting injured in a certain situation
Disabled people are people who have mental or physical limitation so they depend on someone to support them in doing their daily life needs and jobs. Although disabled people are a minority and they are normally ignored, they are still a part of the society. The statistics show that the proportion of disabled people in the world rose from 10 percent in the seventies of the last century to 15 percent so far. The number of handicapped exceeds a billion people all over the world, occupied about 15 percent of the world's population, as a result of an aging population and the increase in chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, blood and psychological diseases that are related with disabilities and impairments. Every five seconds someone
