Premier Sportsman, Inc., is compiled of generations of hunters. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to see what hunting, fishing and nature was all about. Later, as a husband, father and grandfather I discovered what it meant to have that perfect story. That perfect hunt, a guided trip, up in the hills with my buddies, in a drift boat on the Kenai or Columbia River... Creating and capturing memories are what is important to us at a Premier a Sportsman, Inc.
One of the most predominant experiences to me would be when I won a winter guard competition. It is absolutely one of the most unbelievable experiences to hear you guard's name over the speaker for everyone to hear while a judge gives your captains a trophy with a big #1 on it. Everyone was in unmitigated shock when they heard our name because when we first started, we all weren't really that skilled. Actually, most of my guard was first-year rookies. They had never even picked up a flag before this.
A man decided to climb. The time was nine o’clock, not a hint of sunlight, not a single cloud. In his way, he meets an old sir that, warning him what could happen. Where he was, he saw banks of snow.
In December, my family and I went skiing in Colorado. We like to go see our family, and participate in winter sports. Our two favorite sports are tubing and skiing. When we arrived at Colorado there were ten inches of snow on the ground. We had a choice to go back to my grandparent’s house or go tubing and then go back.
I was having so much fun with the cold wind on my cheeks and was laughing the whole way down until I got some snow in my eyes that limited my vision. I began to panic which kept me from hearing my mom saying, “ JUMP!!! JUMP!!! ” I was clueless to the fact that I was headed for a tree. Down the hill I went and straight into the tree.
The ice cold snow melts onto my face, I laugh at myself and hope to god the people around me didn’t see that. No one was paying attention to me they all had this type of confidence and excitement to learn and grow. I stood back up and headed down the hill with all force, not knowing how to turn I abruptly put my snowboard on healedge and slammed to a stop. Little did I know I was already halfway down the hill.
As soon as we got to the lake I was stunned the lake looked so sparkly and surprisingly clean with only a few leaves. We headed on to the sandy beach, and I hesitantly put my toes in. Then I shrieked and leaped out back onto the safety and warmth of the sand. Then my dad asked if I wanted to have a contest to see who could go out farther into the freezing cold water. Of course I said yes cause I wanted to beat my dad.
have you ever thought about the past? it could be from when you were 4 to 4 minutes ago? Snowboarding in Snowshoe West Virginia One day my family and me took a trip to Snowshoe West virginia.
I have always been a happy and outgoing person. Enjoying my growth into adulthood, it is not easy to get me down. I have had many exciting and devastating experiences in my life, but each has taught me something new about the world and myself. Finding thrill is my favorite pastime, but I need to be aware of what can happen. One of the more tragic experiences in my life has taught me that sometimes we do not know what is best for us and we should listen to those who are only trying to help us.
Everybody told me how fun powder is to ski. When me my dad and older sister start to head down to the lift my ski binding is to loose and my ski came off. Luckily I was not that far from our car. So we went back to the car and fix the problem. Finally we get on the lift I was really excited.
Once, I was a little snowflake on top of a mountain. Life was good on Aspen Mountain with the exception of being trampled by skiers. Until one day when a skier wipes out on top of me. As he was falling, Me and my brothers were swept into the man's jacket. Most of my brothers tumbled out as the man stumbled for his Ski poles but I was stuck.
One thing I can say is that the training paid off, I had a few close calls, but I got to the championship. From there was a nightmare, after only an hour every fiber of my being called out to stop, but I kept on going. To win I had to pull off a crazy maneuver I knew I couldn’t do it, but I had to try. The thrill was fantastic, but I could feel the snow like it was penetrating my skull. I managed to land it, and win.
I was supposed to run through all that snow. So I ran my fastest and hid somewhere no one knew where i was until a predator caught me. I had snow in my foot and I had a frost bite. I got lost on the way back i started to scream. I also started to cry because i got really scared .
At the time I had never been on a rollercoaster. I was pretty scared but I decided i would try it so just to get used to it so i found the second biggest rollercoaster in the park and got i n l9ine. Then once we got up front I wanted to turn back but my sister wouldn 't let me
Shoe Narrative It was a calm peaceful drive to work for this morning. The leaves on the trees were almost all gone, although a few still held onto their orange and yellow covering. The late fall atmosphere also allowed me to see the beautiful golden sunrise every morning while driving to the hospital for work. I was running a little late today because of a slow start, but everyone at the hospital knows when they are working with me, they will not start on time.
