“Memories of our lives, of our works, and of our deeds will continue in others,” eloquently spoken by Rosa Parks. I have grown and had a stellar time in 5th grade. I have gone to places I have never gone to before. I have done things I have never done before. Three of the most memorable moments I had in 5th grade was going to Catalina Island, going to the California Science Museum, and reading “Shoe Dog.”
When I Went To Florida I went to Florida after 4th grade in the summer. When we went to Florida, Jaxon my sisters, brother came with us. The night before we left he stayed at my house. When we left the next morning we left at 3:00 A.M. While we were on our way we both had to sit in the very back of the car because my sisters came with us. The ride there was not fun at all.
Time. 10:19 p.m. South Florida. The traffic light rests at red for an eternity, mocking me with its condescending gaze. I quickly turned my head both directions, not a car in sight for what it seemed to be miles.
There is one far distant memory that I can never seem to get out of my head. When I was much younger, maybe 8 or 9, my family and I went to the Hawaiian islands on vacation. As everybody else that visits the islands, we of course went to the beach. I had no idea at the time that I would have such an intense experience that would change me for the rest of my life. It all starts on a perfect Hawaiian day, everything was exactly what you would expect out of a hot vacation spot.
It was a cool breezy, spring night as we set off on our journey. The clocked showed 7pm and our destination was Clearwater Beach, Florida. We crammed into a van and set off on our journey. In the beginning, we shared some laughs. By the end of the journey, we shared even more laughs and fears for the future.
Being born and raised in Florida it was evident that I was going to experience some beautiful nature as a child. It never really occurred to me though how important nature is and how much of an affect it can have on a person. When I was younger my family used to travel down to the Florida Keys every summer to go fishing and snorkeling. I would look forward to this trip every summer because the drive down to the Keys enabled us to see all of Florida and that was always my favorite part. As I got into my teens though and started playing more sports my summers soon became filled with traveling around the state playing sports rather than fishing and snorkeling down in the keys.
My favorite was going to Texas because I don 't really remember Florida because I was a baby. I want to go to Florida again so then I could see the beautiful ocean that I already saw but not as a baby. Florida is a beautiful place people tell me. If we go to Florida again we get to stay at one of my family members house.
My Memoir Have you ever been to Florida? When I was seven my family went to Florida. Have you ever been able to take a friend on a vacation? I got to take my vacation with a friend. How cool was that?
Florida is the sunshine and alligator state. Which is awesome because Florida has a lot of sunshine and they have a lot of alligators there. Florida’s population is around 19.8 million because they have a lot of people all around the world. Florida is one of the best states in the world because of its awesome attractions such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios, Holy Land, and more. So, that is one reason why I think it’s one of the best places in the world to live.
In spring of 2013, I went to Hawaii on the band spring trip and I loved it! We spent a week there and I cried when we had to board the plane back home. People see pictures of how beautiful it is over there, but they just do not do the Aloha state any justice. Like Hawaii the Florida Keys has beautiful waters, and wildlife. I have always dreamt of living on an island and if I had to choose a place it would be one of these two.
If I could be anywhere right now I would choose to be on the beach in Florida. I would be in Fort Myers Beach, Florida because that is my favorite place to visit in Florida. When I visit Florida I enjoy laying around the pool and going to the beach. Florida is my ideal place for relaxation, it clears my head. I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Florida because I always have such a great time when I visit.
Last summer I went on vacation to Puerto Rico with my cousins. We did really fun things like snorkeling, a boat ride, and eating at many wonderful places. Although all those sound really fun, I want to talk about the time I met the most cutest, most fluffiest, most friendliest, animal ever. It all started off on a breezy summer night while my cousins and family were chillin’ at our hotel pool.
My Trip to Florida It was a cold winter night in Upstate New York. My mom and dad were enjoying a cup of coffee, my sisters were playing video games, and I was editing a few pictures on my computer. My mom brought up the idea of a vacation. She said” We haven’t been on a vacation for a long time”.
I will never forget the time When I was at camp this summer I went on the waterboarding trip to lake joe, cassidy. We drove for two hours to go to the lake we were halfway to the lake, and get out of the van everyone thought that the car was going to catch on fire but before we returned to the van, we had to wait a for about 30 minutes. We all went back in the van which still smelled terrible. After a while which felt like forever the smell finally went a way. We made it to the boat ramp but we could not get out yet.
The Most Memorable Vacation A memorable vacation is one that you can never forget. I never thought I would build houses for poor people. It was one of my most memorable experiences in my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact it was my first time to go to a foreign country to help other people build houses.
