Recap on Racquel’s Training Racquel was very receptive to reviewing training procedures and information on clients. We started with JPM prayer where she has been flagging. Counting down the list from number 20 to eventual number 1, my heart raced as they called out the names. It was 8th grade and the rankings were out. This may seem like a rather pretentious achievement but when they called out the name “Andrea Campos” as the valedictorian of Copiague middle school. My heart skipped a beat and tears streamed down my face. Hearing my parents brag about me to their friends made me feel like my accomplishment was their achievement as well.

The creation of the printing press led to a big domino effect as “printing made books less expensive and more available”1 allowing for a larger quantity of writings to be produced for a cheaper price for the consumer giving more people the opportunity to purchase and read different works evidently leading to increased literacy rates. The printing press also affected the spread of writings as “printing revolutionized the speed and range of distribution of texts”2. This increase of speed and range can be concluded due to the fact that literature before the printing press had been handwritten.
When Samantha Kisamitakis was a young child she, “Didn't have a lot of support growing up because of my dysfunctional family that was only looking out for themselves. I had to buy my own clothes, food, and my own phone.” She realized that when she had her first child that she had to do something in her life. So at the age of 20 she tried going to college with a one year old by her side. But, her family wasn’t helping with the child, so she had to take a break.
I, Monica Baltazar was born, on February 16th, 1978 in Irapuato, Guanajuato Mexico. I came to the United States to have better opportunities and to improve my living conditions. I worked in a restaurant and that’s where, I meet Cesar Gonzalez. We were young and naive which resulted in my pregnancy. I moved in with him because, I wanted my children to have a paternal figure in his life.
When I think about the person I am today I think about the people that have helped raise me. We all grow up with different experiences, environments, lifestyles, and people in our lives who help shape who we are. One person that has made a big impact in my life would be my nana and her name is Bea Wilson. She has been in my life since the moment I was born. My nana has shown me that you can make something good out of bad situation.
In August 14, 1983 I was born in Fresno, California. My family consists of my parents Xao Chang and Mao Yang, three sisters Youa, Yer and Vicky, and three brothers Bee, Davis and Doua. My family originally lived in Laos before they fled to Thailand by crossing over the Mekong River. After 2 years of living in the refugee camps in Thailand, my grandma was the first member of my family to immigrate to the United States in 1976. Followed by my parents and their relatives, 2 years later.
. I always went to the same synagogue B’nai Chaim, although I had a baby naming ceremony at a synagogue in Denver. The Hebrew name the rabbi and my parents agreed on Ruth Alessia. I got the name Ruth from my grandmother who passed away and Alessia because it close to my middle name Alyssa. I went to religious school every Sunday from 6 years old to 14 years old.
