For our final project for this class, my partner and I decided to Interview Jose Hernandez who is my brother in law. Jose Hernandez came to the United States at the age of 21 and he’s been living in the U.S for almost 11 years already. We decided to interview him because we felt that we can connect with him if we were able to do a different person with a different ethnicity which was our plan at first but, because of time we needed to find someone fast. Jose has a great story to tell us about his life because he came by himself to the U.S without having any family living here, we want to know more about how hard was for him to support himself financially and emotionally in this country without any family near him. With any more further to say
It was the last inning in our all-star game, and we were losing 10 to 8. Our team had 2 outs and we couldn’t get the third. Our pitcher was doing bad, throwing all balls, while all of us in the field were tired, ready to fall asleep at any moment. There goes another walk. They score again.
I wish I could see Victoria Hernandez again. She was a very sweet, smart, loyal friend and funny. We went to school together in 7 and 8 grades in Curtis Middle School. She was very short when I first met her I thought to myself, I am finally taller than someone. Victoria and I were always together, especially in P.E. we used to always laugh and make jokes.
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing in regards to Ms. Marissa Dona; whom I’ve known and worked with, for eight years. I’ve worked closely with her from when she was a counselor, a therapist, and eventually a program supervisor. Throughout her career at Stars Behavioral Health Group, she was a great leader, team player, and an effective and personable therapist.
Her heart was beating louder and faster she thought for sure the buck would hear it. Her stomach was up to her throat. She had to go to the bathroom. She is a nervous wreck. She held her gun up and in position to shoot.
When Samantha Kisamitakis was a young child she, “Didn't have a lot of support growing up because of my dysfunctional family that was only looking out for themselves. I had to buy my own clothes, food, and my own phone.” She realized that when she had her first child that she had to do something in her life. So at the age of 20 she tried going to college with a one year old by her side. But, her family wasn’t helping with the child, so she had to take a break.
One day a kid named Kai hernandez was riding a bus to school. He sat alone listening to music . Kai would look out the window and think about his future and want he wanted to be when he grew up. Kai always liked challenges so he wanted to be a radiologist, professional football player, or a baseball player. He knew these jobs were hard to achieve.
An unacknowledged pattern occurs consistently throughout time. For example, three times the charm, the three blind mice, the three musketeers, the three amigos; the list goes on and on. The number three is also in the Bible, Jonah was in the giant fish for three days and three nights, Moses mother hid him from the Egyptians for 3 months, Noah had 3 sons; also the Messiah rose on the third day. In response, I have compounded my own group of three that represent me. Archery, mixed martial arts, and music all convey me.
I choose to interview Gabriela Moreno, my 113 spanish professor. The reason I choose her as opposed to any other professor was because she seemed to be the easiest to talk too out of all the rest. She was also very cooperative to set up an appointment, so I decided to proceed to interview her. In class she is an open person to students about her personal life, so I already know a few details. I know about her is she is extremely passionate about her spanish heritage, she has this concept that young Hispanics fear to speak spanish because they were taught they spoke it incorrectly, and never given to opportunity to learn.

I walked proudly up to the stage to retrieve my first place trophy. I was on the verge of sprinting to the stage and snatching the trophy and just hug it till it broke, but I remembered to stay calm. In my mind, I was filled with butterflies and thought no one would have the same trophy. So close to the stage only to see that everyone else got the same trophy just for participating. I felt embarrassed for getting my hopes up to high.
I, Nasanieru Kage, grew up in a small city of Japan. I was brought up in the belief of honor and to help others. But above all, never leave another life to the clutches of Death even at the cost of my own life. Over the years I’ve grown farther and farther from society due to this rule, slowly slipping to the point I was nearly gone from people's’ minds to be forgotten.
I had the pleasure of working with Monica Vallejo at Northwest Arkansas Community College where she served as an assistant in our English department. In addition, she served as president of “Insatiableink,” NWACC’s creative writing club in which I was a co-advisor. Her dedication and attention to detail was instrumental in giving the club its most successful year to date. I am proud to say that she has proven that she has all the qualities that make an extremely successful and responsible college student.
I always thought I was competent when it came to English. At various times my past teachers rewarded me with compliments in regards to my work. These compliments lead me to believe that I was a skilled writer, a proficient writer to be exact. In each of my past writings, I was sure that the content, structure, and mechanics were properly
The Stories, The People. Memorable stories. Memorable people. Looking around the world you see people, of course.
