At Costco, you must show your membership ID before entering the store to shop and they usually say hi and welcome when you do. They also have employees that hand out samples to people walking by. From experience at Costcos, I've always encountered very polite and helpful employees. Costco usually has all my needs but it is always packed when I go. When you're walking into Sam's Club you are welcomed with a smile and a hello as well.
Working at Publix Deli can be one of the most stressful but rewarding jobs one can ever have. To start off its rude customer central. However I’m not here to sit around and explain the troubles a Publix Deli Associate goes through. We are here to learn how to make the best damn publix sub. There are many things that can make this sub great in many peoples eyes.
After interviewing Daniel Marsh in order to learn more about the required etiquette standard that his job requires, I must say that I was impressed. I was impressed to learn about how much his job, Chick-Fil-A, value their employees and customers. The level of etiquette that Chick-Fil-A requires their coworkers to display shows how much they care about the reputation of the company. According to Daniel, Chick- Fi-La requires their customers to remain friendly and calm at all times, even with rude customers. Daniel’s coworkers are allowed to talk to each other with a firm and sometimes slightly aggressive voice, however the use of a firm tone is always prohibited when talking to customers.
I would like to bring to you my story with American Airlines, hopefully to get some justice for what have been done to me by American Airlines. My story with American Airlines. It seems that we are living in a great hypocrisy. Some of us advocate for something, but in reality they practice something totally different. I am going to share and expose American Airlines one of the largest airlines in the world and show the world that dishonesty and thievery do exist even among multi billion dollar companies or maybe better to say especially among billion dollar companies.
Five years ago, I worked for Publix Supermarket, and I lived in Warner Robins Georgia. This next weekend was inventory time and the entire store was to be counted by Monday morning. Nobody was pleased about offering up their weekend for inventory. The stores morale was extremely low, and no one wanted to be counting inventory all weekend. Our supervisor decided to offer each one a chance to demonstrate how effective they could work as a team.
As I look at this picture, it makes me think about the time I took responsibility for my little cousins. This picture was taken the day I took cousins to Chuck E Cheeses for the first time. My family lives in Oregon, but my extended family lives in California, all around the Bay Area that’s where my family is from there too. While I like Oregon, I try to find any excuse to visit California. So two years ago during spring break, my sister and I decided to go to California.
It’s a fun place to be and the food is pretty good for price. I don’t think the dirty table incident is big deal considering they were very packed at the time and after all, it is a casual dining experience. All of them employees were nice and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. Our waitress was very polite and attentive, never faling to come check up on us every once in a while. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the fries.
This past week, I conducted an informational interview with Aaron Riipa, a Sourcing Manager in Media for General Mills (at their headquarters). I first got into contact with this person by meeting another employee at the same company. The other worker was speaking to one of my student groups and after chatting once the meeting was over he thought it would be helpful for me to chat to another person. Aaron is head of supply chain recruiting at the U for General Mills and as he could be the one hiring me someday he was definitely someone I needed to speak with. He was perfect for me as he started out in buying and now is in sourcing, which are two paths I am considering taking.

Pet Peeve My pet peeve dates back a long time ago. The earliest encounter of my pet peeve, that I can remember, was back in 2nd grade. This was the year that we had the notorious class vs. class kickball tournament. Ms. Koep’s class, the class I was in, was the pick to win the tournament.
If I continue to take the same actions in the future, while at Carson, in college, and in the work force all the falling can happen. It can Destroyed my reputation as a student Plagiarism can cause a student to be suspended or expelled. My academic record can reflect the offense, and could possibly causing me to not get into college. Destroyed my Reputation as a Professional considering that I will need and want a good professional career one day that could damage the chance of a good career. Not only will I likely be fired or asked to step down from my position, but I will surely find it difficult to get a respectable
In this day and age, being on time for school is a thing of the past. But to be honest, the night before I was having the time of my life going through all 13 seasons of Grey 's Anatomy. In any way, shape, or form did I know that I had a stack load of homework to get done for the next day. But lets cut to the chase, it was a 4 day weekend which meant catching up on both sleep and netflix. Even though time was of the essence, I procrastinated the whole weekend to get the homework done.
I noticed that there were many employees that were not wearing name tags. I counted six employees out in the grocery aisles that were not wearing name tags. My cashier and my bagger were not wearing name tags. The employee that helped me in the Hot Bar was not wearing a name tag. The employee that helped me find a product’s location was not wearing a name tag.
Sam Walton always said the greatest risk to his business was that his customers would stop buying at his stores. That fear translated into customer fanaticism is strengthened by HR to this day. Traditionally, everyone is focused on improving every aspect of customer service, because they know the greatest risk of all may depend on it… their own job.
One of my experiences with failure took place when I was in fourth grade. There were many problems accumulated and I was a child who needed people to see if I did my homework or study for the test, because I couldn’t concentrate and was distracted by anything in the room. My brother also had problems that year, he needed more attention because he didn’t get along with his math teacher and my Mom was always after him with the homework; otherwise he would have failed Math at the end of the year. In fourth grade, the teacher that was assigned to us was one of the strict teachers that were in that school
