Then we went and ran over how to tackle low since I was on defense this game not on offense where I would be a running back. But after that me and some of my friends were in a little group and we said that we might lose but we have a little chance of winning. It finally came to the start of the game
and I 'm also a second string strong side linebacker it was our last game of the season,so we really wanted to go out on the win or a record for the season was one way in five losses and one tie,we hadn 't had a great season so we especially wanted to go out on a win. We got the ball first on kick off and we made a touchdown on the first few drives. On
I ran as fast as I can to the outside I had blockers iI make a guy miss then all of a sudden I got hit in the back and I got pushed for the first down. The next play we scored and won the game.
They ran the ball to my side of the field, and I made a tackle that resulted in a fumble that led to us scoring. The crowd in the stadium were ecstatic, I had people calling my name from the stands. I was happy at the time, but knew it was to be short lived, because the game wasn’t over. Their was still enough time on the clock for them to tie the game back up. I was almost proven
I will never forget that moment, when I caught the ball I took off, I juked to the left causing my other teammate to fall then I hit a spin move and cause another teammate to miss, I then ran for the touchdown. Ever since that moment the coach started me at running back every single practice and game. For it to be my first year playing contact football I excelled tremendously in our league gaining recognition from coaches that taught higher weight classes and also coaches from different
The Thursday night lights beamed down on me as kickoff approached. It was the last game of the 8th grade football season and the last chance to make my mark on a personally rather ordinary season. We were playing Celina, a team known to be a powerful opponent. I was on the kickoff return team, playing on the far left side of the field and on that particular night we were set to receive the kick. The referee’s whistle pierced the warm and soundless autumn air.
Raced down the basketball court. As soon as we reached the basketball goal. I did a really quick move called the hop step. With a reverse layup at the end. After that I looked at the coaches and they looked down at their papers and called me over.
As we stood on the freshly cut grass motionless, in complete despair, we soon realized the effort we had given was simply not enough. We could have ran those suicides harder, connected one more pass, added 5 more pounds in the weight room. Although the crowd was roaring, everyone in a white uniform stood as if there wasn’t a sound heard for miles. With 56 seconds left on the clock, we all knew our season was coming to an end. The time that we thought was boundless, was ended by a buzzer that only brought disappointment.
Aidan’s Fantasy Growing up i've always liked football. The Dallas Cowboys to be exact. My fantasy would to play on the Cowboy’s team, and now that fantasy is coming true.
The players on the opponent 's team were huge they looked like monsters about to crush us. After the coaches were done doing the roster check we shook hands with the other team and headed onto the field. The coaches got the teams hype and everyone got set for kickoff I am there (corner and kick returner). The team kicked the ball off and oh no I dropped the open kick off
A smile appeared on my face as I watched the ball land perfectly in front of my teammate, giving her a picture-perfect set up to the goal. She took a forceful strike to the back of the net, but the goalkeeper snatched the ball and punted it down the field. I gazed as the ball soared over my head, I began to dash down the field. Running as quickly as I possibly could to try to get ahead of my opponent. Slowing down to catch my breath, I came to a halting stop.
“Pass Pass Pass”, my teammate screamed for my attention. There were only a few minutes left before my soccer team would win the championship game and all we had to do was prevent the other team from scoring. Out of nowhere, the other team got an energy boost and they start sprinting towards the goal and they were coming straight at me. They would have to get through me before they could shoot the ball into the net. All my teammates were counting on me and then WHAM!
With my speed I started dashing on the edge of the field all the way to side of the goal. I quickly evaded the defender and in the distance I heard “ Cross the Ball” said Player Number 1 . With all the force I possessed in me, I punted the ball to my teammate and with his strength he leaped to head the ball into the goal and scored the first goal! Everybody was celebrating, but we still knew that this wasn 't the end.
And I thought to myself “oh my god” because at the time, I was like 4 foot 7, and they were like 5 foot 2. I ran as fast as I could, to the end zone and I scored, and everyone went bananas, my whole team came dashing over to me, giving me high fives and shoulder bumps. But I just stood there silently, smiled, and thought to myself “Thanks
It was 3 minutes left in the game and we were now down by five points. Our opponents had the ball and they missed their shot. So now it is ours and we are running down the court. I key of the court and the ball is being thrown towards me, I react quickly and grab the ball and score two points. Now we are down by 3.
