Personal Narrative: The Day Before The Convention

It was the day before the convention, and I had just woken up. I was so excited, this would be the first time I 'd have a meet and greet to meet my fans. I get off my bed, remembering that my flight is in 3 hours. I grab the video camera from the desk and flop down on the bed.

"Hey guys! So, this is the day before the convention, and I 'm so excited to meet you all! I have 3 hours before my plane to LA," I pause to look at the clock, "and it 's 8 right now. I need to do my morning stuffs, so I 'll record later!" I finish, stopping and placing the video camera down. As I place it down, I hear the small mews of Yumi, my kitten.

I wash myself without thinking, and before I know it I 'm out of the shower, drying myself. I comb my mop of hair, and brush my teeth. If I am correct, it 's about 9, which means I have an hour to eat and feed Yumi. I finish brushing my hair, and put it in a towel. I walk out of my bathroom and into my own room, looking in my drawers for a top and bottoms.

I choose my jean shorts and a black tank-top that read 'Mistress of the dark ', then walked out of my room. I went to the kitchen, where Yumi was waiting. I got a can of her food, opened it, and put it into her bowl.

"There you are, Yumi. Enjoy!" I say, going back to the counter and grabbing a small bowl and a cereal box, filling the bowl with cereal. I get milk from the fridge and pour some into the bowl , then putting the milk back. I grab the bowl and a spoon and then go to my small table and sit down.

Minutes later, I have finished the cereal, I hear my phone ring. Rushing into my room to my phone, I see who 's calling. It 's Lucine! I slam my finger on the answer button.

"Hello?" I say into the phone, then regretting it as my friend blows out my eardrums.
