Three Important Events Revision

In my thirteen years of living on this planet, I have had some important events in my life that turned into a good ending. Some of those things include getting a new pet, traveling across the country, and being in the parade. All of these events had some impact on my life. The first important event in my life that I can think of happened four years ago in fifth grade. That event was being in the kazoo band. The kazoo band is a tradition at Lincoln Elementary School. It’s in the Raisin Day Parade and everyone has a choice of being a dancer, a flag person, or play the buckets as drums. My teacher, Mr.Olson, said we can try more than one and see which one we liked better. I tried dance and flag, but I decided to do flag because I was already in dance and wanted to try something new. Doing flag in the kazoo band was fun and inspired me to try out for the junior high flag squad. I made it so I tried out again …show more content…

On the trip over there I went on my first plane ride that I remember. I was so scared, but once the plane was up in the air it felt like it wasn’t moving. It was fun just looking out the window to see down at the scenery and watching movies. When over there we visited many historical sites. Then when we were in New York we visited Central Park and Times Square. I always wanted to visit New York and I finally did. Going on that trip was an important part of my life because I made many memories with my best friend, saw a lot of our history, and traveled across the United States. My best friend and I always go back to those memories, by seeing our history I was able to relate more and go back to it when learning about it in eighth grade history, and by going all the way on the other side of the United States I learned that I enjoy traveling and I would like to do it
