It was the last inning in our all-star game, and we were losing 10 to 8. Our team had 2 outs and we couldn’t get the third. Our pitcher was doing bad, throwing all balls, while all of us in the field were tired, ready to fall asleep at any moment. There goes another walk. They score again.
Kiefer and I looked at each other confused when we realized a boat was zooming toward us. In a panic, we attempt to scramble out of the way because since the bottom of the seadoo was black, a ship wouldn’t be able to see us and potentially chop us into bits. Since we couldn’t move the seadoo fast enough, we had to profusely wave our hands back and forth for the boat to see us. It looked like the boat was heading our direction, full speed ahead, when last second it swings around us, avoiding us by a thread, and then proceeds. The only remains of that experience were the four-foot waves that swamped us and the seadoo, once
As you arrive back to shore you will be able to relive the sights you just viewed. SNORKELING
Cutting through the water like a knife, I tested out my newfound skills. I found that I could manipulate the currents just by willing it and influenced them to my advantage, making them push me through the ocean. I could grow seaweed and other plants, bending them to my will. I was strong, strong and fast. Faster than I had ever been zooming across the ocean floor beating my tail.
and then relax on the beach for the rest of the day. Nothing could beat spending your days like that. On the day of our first dive, I was quite nervous because this was going to be my first actual dive in the ocean. When it came time to get ready to jump off the boat, I was feeling excitement, but at the same time extremely scared that something was going to go wrong.
When I was in kindergarten, I did not have friends; my highs and lows oscillated on the approval of others who understood me even less than I did myself. For picture day, I remember being happy to wear my favorite shirt: a Strawberry Shortcake blouse with ruched sleeves. A girl deprecatingly told me I looked like a little kid. I never wore the shirt again. Although I already felt like an outsider, the situation worsened when I moved from Las Vegas to Hawaii.
I have had tough hope once, I had to move to a different state and start to get used to the new place. Moving was hard and took a long time to move everything to our new house. My new house was hard to get used to because it was different and I wasn 't used to it which made it hard to sleep and I had to leave my friends behind and I would have to find new friends. Making new friends was hard because I would be alone until I found new friends and I would have no one to talk to so I would be very quiet. Usually I would always be talking to a friend and I am only social with friends.
2253751 Into the Reflecting Pool This semester in English class has provided me with more than I had expected. As I am a writer, I was prepared to bull crap my entire way through the semester since writing papers that are worthy of an A is easy. This is what I was prepared for, and this is what I did. This semester helped me master the art of speaking without saying anything, or in this case, writing without saying anything.
It felt like my ears were going to burst, and my legs were in a knot. I quickly swam up, so the pressure levels. After a while of admiring the spectacular scenery underwater, each one of us swam toward the shore. The adventure was
I jumped and for a split second stayed in the air doing somersaults, then later I felt the rush of water in my face. I broke out to the surface spraying water everywhere. It felt so good, the water all over my body swishing and swashing smoothly. I swam a few yards to fall upon Daddy and Uncle. They were taking photos and their bright pink floaties dragged through the water.
You never know how helpless you are until you have a near death experience. One summer, when I was young, my family and I went to a water park. I didn’t know how to swim, but thankfully the majority of the park required no swimming ability. For one of the rides, I wanted to get out of my tube and jump around, but once I climbed out, I immediately sunk to the bottom. I tried to kick back up and just as my legs gave in, a lifeguard climbed in and pulled me up.
We all have a passion. That passion can turn into so many amazing and brilliant creations. Do something that makes your heart pound, and your mind completely silent for simple problems that you've been thinking about all day it. Throughout most of elementary school I wasn’t very interested in sports. At that age I preferred learning about a variety of subjects. Many of my relatives and classmates thought it was weird that I didn’t have an interest in sports and never had the common little kid dream of becoming a professional athlete. However, as I grew older and spent more time with my older cousins I started to gain an interest in sports. Then when I was in fifth grade I decided to join the community basketball and baseball teams, although that wasn’t the most important decision, I think that it was through sports that I started to transition from childhood to adulthood.
The issue here is a situation, a lifeboat dilemma. You are afloat in a lifeboat with too many people during a storm and you have a gun and plenty of ammo. You have FOUR options here after. 1) Wait for the storm to drown everyone. 2) Kill yourself to avoid the decision.
Change is described as events that differ throughout a course of time. My generation is willing to get involved in change more than previous generations. As human beings, we not only survive on earth, but we have to thrive on this planet. Our generation today is a lot more involved in our society than previous generations because we want to change more things such as taxes, legislative laws, and political views to make our life better for our generation and hopefully for future generations as well. Today, we have a politician named Bernie Sanders that has appealed to the newer generations and due to that, we have a lot of younger members of my generation that are voting.
