Premier Sportsman, Inc., is compiled of generations of hunters. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to see what hunting, fishing and nature was all about. Later, as a husband, father and grandfather I discovered what it meant to have that perfect story. That perfect hunt, a guided trip, up in the hills with my buddies, in a drift boat on the Kenai or Columbia River... Creating and capturing memories are what is important to us at a Premier a Sportsman, Inc.
WSTC formally known as Wayland Swim and Tennis Club isn't just a swim club to its members. It serves as a summer home for them. The light brown curvy pathway leads directly to the old wooden sign in tabel. The table has lost a leg, but it still stands there every year welcoming anyone who reaches it. Names are etched into the table from years prior adding a sense of charm to what some might call junk.
1. Introduction: Ben Hogan was possibly one of the best players that the game of golf has ever seen. He faced many obstacles throughout his career including world war two and a horrible motor vehicle accident, but even this could not stop him from returning to the amazing, mentally tough game of golf. However, his downfall came when he experienced the “yips” while putting. The yips is a type of dystonia. According to Joseph Jankovic (2009: v) dystonia is a neurologic disorder characterized by involuntary, sustained, patterned, and often repetitive muscle contractions of opposing muscles that cause twisting movements, abnormal postures, or both.
I became apart of Marcus Golf my sophomore year after I switched over from soccer. With a smooth transition I was able to be successful very early on. I was nominated to be team captain my sophomore year when I was on JV, and when I got moved up to Varsity I continued to be a strong leader. With lots of hard work and dedication every day I was able to win an award for Most Fairways my junior year. I enjoy being a part of this program, and love being a leader on and off the
The ball went flying through the air as if it was taken by the wind. I watched it and then was then yelled at to RUN! It was my first ever baseball hit. I Lined up inside the box itching to get my first hit. The pitcher got the signals from his coach.
and I went to the tee box to meet the players I was competing with that day. After we exchanged scorecards so that nobody would accuse another of cheating, we teed off. My first shot went far and to the left of the fairway but it was okay because the first hole was a dogleg to the left (A dogleg is when a hole goes straight for a
Thanksgiving Break The main thing I did over my thanksgiving break was hunting. It was Bob Carter, Andy Carter, Wayne Woulsy, Willy Carter, and I. We started duck hunting on Wednesday on the 23rd of November. Are first hunt we saw a bunch of mallard ducks light on a pool east of are blind. We killed 1 wood duck and 1 wigeon duck.
We loaded the golf cart in the shed, and we left the course. We got in the vehicle and left the course. I talked to my parents about our next time we will be going to the course and golfing another round. I enjoyed my visit to the course, and I wanted to go there again in the near future. My parents said we will go there again next
The day of the golf tournament, I was extremely joyful to be at Baltusrol Golf Club for the Drive, Chip, and Putt championship. It was late September; a beautiful day in fact, and the atmosphere was nothing before seen. In this situation, I was determined and hard-fought to do well. My father was supportive and proud of me being in the tournament. Even though I was participating in this event, I had a broken wrist.

After that I shoot a duck but something happened and it is funny. I shot the gun and the gun is a 4ten and it kicks. I shot the duck and then I disappeared, everyone said “where did Helen go.” The look around for a little wile and I said “I am right here.”
The summer of 2017 is the best summer that I have ever had. Since the last two summers were not the greatest, due to the events that happened, this summer was easy to enjoy. Over summer, I spent most of my time in a boat, either fishing or bowfishing. The sport of bowfishing is shooting trash fish, nasty, slimy carp and alligator gar, with a bow. The arrow of the bow is attached to a string that can be reeled back into a spool.
However, they also offered tasty free sub sandwiches that kept me coming back. Over time, I became more familiar with the experienced golfers, who I initially looked upon with disdain and didn’t think I will ever understand, because not only did they think it was good fun, but also a sport, to hit a little stationary ball around with a stick- alone. However, despite my stubborn views, I came to understand that nothing about them was lax. They spent countless hours on the range, drilling their swings, practicing multiple shots with different clubs. Not only did they practice to keep a consistent swing that would deliver on the course, but also practiced shaping shots to face the potentially difficult situations they might find themselves in on the course.
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
I knew from getting out of my red dodge truck, seeing black clouds covering the sky, it was going to be a hectic hunting day. Justin, Dad, Orlando, Jake, Emily, Rob, and I, were all getting ready to start the journey to the skinny pond on the outskirts of Salem. While everyone was either getting waiters or thick, puffy, big, strap pants, Izzy their black hunting lab was sniffing the place out. We got out hand lights or headlights turned on, locked both trucks. We started to head out to the Skinny pond.
