Personal Narrative: Hectic Hunting Day

I knew from getting out of my red dodge truck, seeing black clouds covering the sky, it was going to be a hectic hunting day. Justin, Dad, Orlando, Jake, Emily, Rob, and I, were all getting ready to start the journey to the skinny pond on the outskirts of Salem. While everyone was either getting waiters or thick, puffy, big, strap pants, Izzy their black hunting lab was sniffing the place out. We got out hand lights or headlights turned on, locked both trucks. We started to head out to the Skinny pond. Orlando is the leader as always with his smooth, wooden, walking stick that helps him check for any holes on the trail. We all started walking with our pails that had extra clothes, drinks, food, bird calls, and warmers. Of course I fell from tripping on a sharp, pointy, thick branch. Honk, Honk, Honk. three geese came in from my dad's calling. He was leading them into their deaths. They landed right where neither my father or I could could get a good shot.
After, at least ten minutes of my father calling back and forth with all three geese, they started swimming toward us. The most meaty goose,, was in the front coming right in front of me. I lift my camo semi-automatic 20 gauge and aim my silver bead right on that that big, white, gray, and black honker. Pow! I watch the bird to see if it flies up, but it never moved.
“ Dad!” I yell excitedly, “Look, look, I got my first goose!” No one answered. Pow! I hear my dad gun go off. He dropped the first. The second goose went up, I guess it was either looking for his friends or just stupid because it went back down and landed back on the pond. Pow! Dad crumpled the other goose.
“ I think I got them!” laughed dad. Izzy sprinted in the pond and retrieved all three, which took her a while because they were super heavy.
“ Nice shoot simps!” smirked
