Winters in Florida can be great. When the rest of the country is buried under a foot of snow Floridians are slipping on their flip flops and heading to the beach. One thing that I do not like about Florida winters is most weeks we experience all four seasons in one week. We may start and end the week with 80-degree sunny weather but during the week we wake up one day and it is 27 the next morning it rains followed by 75 then back to 30. We can have a severe frost on Monday and be in shorts by Friday. Living though this crazy spastic weather can wreck your sinuses and cause you to live with a constant head cold. This sore throat soother comes with a warning to give to adults only. The recipe is simple, the juice of 2 lemons (about a half a cup), 4 table spoons of honey and 4 table spoons of vodka. You put all the ingredients in a mason jar or sealed container, shake it up. When someone has a soar throat just give them two table spoons before bed for sweet dreams and relief for their throat. I found the recipe that I doubled at http://yesterdayontuesday.com/2014/10/best-sore-throat-soother/ To help clear up our sinuses I found a recipe for shower bombs that have vics in them. I absolutely LOVE Vics and Mentolatum they help so much. These little bombs are so so simple, a small vics baby rub ( I used the adult for more oomph), 1 cup of corn starch, ½ cup baking soda, water to add by the drop to help mix, sprinkles to make it pretty and a mini muffin tin. Just combine all the ingredients. I ended up having to use my hands to get everything all mixed
