The second wife( review)
I have just finished a very nice novell which name is (the second wife). It wrote by Brenda Chapman who is the author of the murder mystery in Winter’s Grip (2010). She is a teacher and currently works as a senior communications advisor in the federal government in Ontario. The book tell us about, what Lake did when her ex-husband was arrested and accused of murdering his new wife. Lake works police officer with desk job. After this happen Lake starts to search for the right killar; however, she becomes as a detective to look for the real murderer.
This book comes with sixteen chapter and each one complet another as in style of the detective novel is. I like Chapman’s writing style because it is clear and easy to understand. This novel is quick mystery read because it is less than 110 pages and it moves at fast pace. the reader must take care about what the first voice hear in novel or I can say who is telling in novel to get to know the characters closely. This novel is written in first person perspective (Lake’s voice) and this style is going to live as a character in the novel. The writer doesn’t use a lot of opposites word because from first page to last page chapman uses an easy word and clear writing style ; because of that, this novel is chosen for students who are learning english.
