1) I would describe myself as being a funny, hardworking, friendly, loving, and happy person. I can be shy at times but I enjoy helping people.
2) My educational background and work experiences have prepared me to be a part of your university by pushing myself to be the best I can be. I know time management is a major key to success between school and the work place.
3) From my perspective, to be a part of this university would mean that all my hard work will have paid off and I can succeed even more. I want to make my family proud and set an example for my younger brother. This university could help make all of my dreams come true.

Those courses were rigorous but I was ready to accept a challenge. Those courses also led to late night studying and meeting the deadline of research papers due to turnitin.com.
7) I do not act very different outside of the school setting. I am just a funny, friendly, and happy person.
8) Towards the end of my junior year in high school, I signed up to take the PERT test hoping I could take Dual Enrollment courses. I passed the reading portion of the test but I did not pass the writing and math portions. I signed up to retake the portions that I did not pass. The math portion was an issue for me as I could not get a high enough score to take College Algebra. All though, my score went up after taking the writing portion. I was so devastated to see that I was just 1 point away from passing and being able to take College English. This incident made me feel like a failure because I really looked forward to taking a college course and not having to worry about paying. I was affected because I wanted to make my parents proud by passing but I did not. From that experienced I learned that maybe if I would have studied just a little bit harder I could have benefited. It was best that I kept trying and take the SAT and ACT, hoping I could get passing
