1 Isaac Sheffer Brandi Powell English 09 March 2023 I will become a pathologist in the future. Have you ever heard of the most important doctor you will never see? It takes sacrifice and dedication to become one of these great doctors. They are known as pathologists. In this essay, I will explain how I will become a pathologist and what they do. I will also explain how much they make and what my life as a pathologist would look like. This doctor is so important, that we would not be able to do many things without them. Students that get into BYU Idaho have an average SAT score between 1000-1200 or an average ACT score of 20-26”. Then I will apply to many medical schools and hopefully get accepted. Then when I finish Medical School, I will move to Idaho, Utah, or Montana to live there. Pathologists over there get paid a lot. 2 Fortunately, pathologists get paid a lot of money for the work they do, but they have lots of tasks and hazards they must overcome. It is proven by this quote, “The major occupational health problems encountered in pathology departments are reviewed. They include biological hazards (tuberculosis, hepatitis, HIV, other infectious diseases), chemical hazards (formaldehyde, xylene(s), aromatic amines, methacrylates, glutaraldehyde, latex) and physical hazards (cut injuries, accidental fires, radiation)”(Andrion, A, and E Pira). Pathologists put themselves in danger to help patients have a better life. What would we do without these guys? Aside from all the danger pathologists go through, they get paid at a bare minimum of 200,000 dollars a year, but in Idaho, Utah, and Montana, they all pay even more. There are …show more content…

Montana is my very back up plan if I REALLY need money because it pays more. I got my information from ZipRecruiter. They did not have any quotes or explanations, but they did have pictures. You can see them in the works cited. Washington pays the most out of the options, and it is a wonderful place to live. I know this because first, I used to live in Washington, and it is ranked number one on the website Worldpopulationreview. In conclusion, I see Pathology as a job worth spending eleven to twelve years of my life achieving and spending the rest of my life working as one and going on many vacations. It is a job that will discipline me and give me a life full of money to do fun things with my future wife and kids. I can also get the chance to explore the world with my family and see how big the earth 3 is. I can also help cure Cancer by studying cells and be a hero to many. I hope that I will make this essay a reality.
