Throughout my high school years and beyond I want to accomplish these contributions. I want to become a better person and raise awareness on the outcome that little things can do to our environment. For my community I want to not only make the community better, but also others and I. It very important to become a better person to your community and see the entire picture of littering. Because little negative things can make a huge impact on the community, so I want to focus on doing little positive things for our community. One of the things that I can do for my community is decreasing the amount of trash or litter that’s in my community. The reason why litter is one of my contributions is because whenever I go out biking I see litter at public places, such as parks and shopping centers. Litter doesn’t just affect us, it affects wildlife and our ocean. Decreasing litter is simple task, like community service or just don’t litter. Our marine ecosystems are at risk because of pollution and climate change. The coral reefs are bleaching because of increase of water temperature. I feel as if our environment is a crucial part of our lives. We build on it and live on it, we should take care of our environment because we depend on it. If people were more eco-friendly we are able to put a stop on global warming and pollution. I think that cars are the primary cause to global warming in our society. The cars releases huge amounts of carbon dioxide and contributing to global warming. We can all help like using renewable energy instead of our normal source of energy that uses fossil fuel.
