Life is like a rollercoaster, it has its ups and downs. You can either enjoy the ride or be scared. With sports you can enjoy the ride, it will help you enjoy . Sports can help a student do very well in high school and also have a very positive life out of school. Sports can change people's life, for the better. I have played soccer all four years of high school, its helped me a lot. Not only in school but outside of school. It helps me release stress and helps me forget about everything when I’m on the field. It has helped me be better person and individual. I have played all four years of high school soccer, and without it I think my grades would be terrible. So it helps me be motivated in school, so if I want to play and enjoy the game I love, I have to be passing the class. That’s assisted me a lot in high school. During the spring I’m always on top of things, I finish all my assignments on time and be better in school. If I was not I would not be able to play and sitting on the bench is not the greatest feeling. Especially when parents or classmates ask why you’re sitting the bench and you have to tell them its because of your grades. Sports can be a guidance into building character and manners. Its helped me be a better, helpful, kind person. In addition it also shows me how I have to be on time for practice and games, and that I have to work everything around those times. But mostly soccer. My family loves it, they go to every game of mine and my brothers. They even play soccer themselves, they never miss a game. We watch it on tv as well, we believe it’s a wonderful sport to play and learn from. Teaches us, responsibility, respect, restraint, tolerance, teaches us to believe in ourselves and our capability to do better and improve. My parents encourage us if we want to play we have to have good grades so i appreciate them for doing that. For club soccer they pay so I can be on the team and play, so if I’m not doing good in school my parents will take me off the team. As a result in that they know as well as I do, playing sports can help sometimes with college. If you're good at the sport you play, colleges will offer scholarships so you can play for their school. That is every athlete's dream to accomplish, to receive an offer from a college and continue his or her sport
