Wouldn’t it be nice to attend the college of your dreams and graduate with little to no debt? In the United States college tuition fees have skyrocketed within the past 50 years which has resulted in many intelligent young people becoming unmotivated because the stress of finances has become overbearing. Therefore, college tuition costs should be lowered significantly in order to make sure college is affordable for all motivated people. I want to break down the barrier keeping us all from becoming successful! I have worked diligently throughout high school by taking Honors and AP courses because I want to go to college. I’ve seen what it’s like for several people to get out of high school and lose the motivation to create a better life for themselves because of financial depressions. This leads most of them to feel the need to drink alcohol and smoke. I want to live a different life other than the one that’s always been shown to me. …show more content…

I’ve been told I am limited to colleges within the state I reside because of financial reasons, yet, I feel as though I could be an asset to anywhere I decide to go to college. If I was able to go to college out of state and meet a new crowd of people, it would change the way I see the world. It could be an experience that changes what I want to do in life, or it could show me that I made the right choice to pursue the career I’ve decided. Even though it might just be the next state over, the people there live differently than the people here and I find it interesting to see the different ways people
