WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL HEALTH GOAL? My personal health goal is to plan and consume a more nutritious food. At the moment I am eating very unhealthy food and drinks, such as Burger King and McDonalds. I want to have this new diet because I have been gaining a lot of unwanted weight that I never had a few years ago. I think I have gained this weight because I have obtained by license, which means I can go to a fast food restaurant anytime I’m hungry. WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL? To start my new plan I need to research and read about some good diets to have and make sure they follow the nutritional guidelines. To start I will use my mothers newspaper ads for Corborn’s and Walmart to see what the best deals they have on fruits, vegetables, and meat. I must make sure that the stuff I am buying is fresh and ripe. I will also need some recipes that I can look up on Google or in my mother’s cookbook. I also need to be very patient; I need to realize that changing over to a healthy diet can take time. I will not be seeing the impacts of the diet until a month or two passes. I was never taught how to cook my own food, so I will need to learn and me being able to eat healthier affects my ability to cook. Another obstacle that I need to over come is my time. I work a lot, and I need to make sure that I am always putting in the time that I may not have into this diet. I need to make my greatest effort to prepare my food and put in separate containers so I can heat it up later for a quick access. The last obstacle that I must overcome is the addiction for fast food. This is a very addicting substance that tastes amazing, and costs close to nothing. When I am going home from work at 8:00 p.m. I pass by 3 different fast food places, I am always tempted to go and get food, and sometimes I do. So I need to overcome that addiction and just drive
