The most important one that will get her where she wants to be in life, is graduating college and getting her RN. She knows that having a steady job with steady income is very important, so of course she is going to move up in the health care field. This leads me to her second goal which is becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. It has to deal with anesthesiology and she is super excited to start helping people recover. Her last goal is to work at UAMS.
I would like to attend Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi because it has one of the best nursing programs. I have been accepted into this university. It is close to my hometown which makes me feel safe. Attending the university will be a good experience for me.
I want to go to Hoosier Girls State so I can better my community when I return. I can use the new leadership skills that I acquire at Girls State to help run my school’s Student Council, National Honor Society, and Sunshine Society. Leadership skills are very important for me because I am currently the Vice President of Sunshine Society, and I will be campaigning for President next year. I hope to continue to be an efficient leader for our Sunshine members, and lead by example for the underclassmen.
I started working in the health care field five years ago as a CNA. My goals have changed slightly as I have been in school. I now want to become a Nurse Practitioner. I aspire to get my bachelors of science in nursing to be able to become a registered nurse. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, I will pursue a master of science in nursing to become a nurse practitioner.
I am in my third year of nursing and I am currently working in a hospital on an Orthopedic Neurological Trauma Unit. I collaborate with patients to identify the prominent health issues they are experiencing and advocate to ensure the care they receive is the most effective for their healing process. Patient interaction, learning new skills and evidence based practice, and being hands on with patient care are the benefits of my job that I enjoy the most. I form a bond with these patients and listen to their personal story to ensure that I give care individualized for each patient. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I can connect with patients of various age ranges and diagnoses by applying these
Also, I am going to start getting paid when I am still doing my schooling because you have to start as a Registered Nurse. The biggest reason I chose this career is because I love children. I would love to help them and bond with them.
My long term goals are to acquire my Doctorate of Nursing Practice after completing the Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner concentration program. I would use my advance practice license in a clinical setting and later give back and share my knowledge and expertise in an educator role. I enjoy educating others greatly; one of the most gratifying components of nursing. Meeting my short term and long term professional and academic goals would be highly rewarding. Knowing I was able to conquer a rigorous nursing program like Maryville University and now having the tools to play a vital role in helping others achieve optimal health would provide
A person’s passions are one of their most defining characteristics because once you know person’s passions, you know to what they are willing to dedicate everything in their life. Passions can surpass reason, doubt, and even fear to shape how a person explores questions and confronts challenges. One aspect of my life in which my passions are apparent is within my hobbies. I love spending time outdoors.
My long term goal would be to assist with the elderly as I’m very drawn to the geriatric community. My faith in Jesus Christ has guided me to fulfill my passion in becoming a nurse. I truly believe that becoming a nurse will help me to completely understand the value of human life. I
I was always the guy that always wanted to think for himself, to be able to know how to get ahead in life without someone to help me until that one day my grandpa and I were discussing my future. He asked me what my plan is when I graduate; I responded by saying that I want to be able to start off by going into the Marines then go to Ohio State University. Right after I mentioned the Marines he frowned; he believes that the Marines are not a good branch to join because they do not treat you that well. He was suggesting that I maybe join the Navy. Although he thinks the Marines are not a good branch to join, I disagree, the Marines are the best branch to join because the Marines are the most elite branch to join; I’ve always wanted to be the best.
Academic Goal The academic goal I have set forth is to do my very best in all my courses only A’s and B’s. This way I will have increased my odds in being accepted into multiple nursing programs so I can take the right step in achieving my first career goal as an ER rn . I believe this is a realistic goal as long I apply myself and stay dedicated I know I can reach that goal.
