The most important one that will get her where she wants to be in life, is graduating college and getting her RN. She knows that having a steady job with steady income is very important, so of course she is going to move up in the health care field. This leads me to her second goal which is becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. It has to deal with anesthesiology and she is super excited to start helping people recover. Her last goal is to work at UAMS.
I would like to attend Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi because it has one of the best nursing programs. I have been accepted into this university. It is close to my hometown which makes me feel safe. Attending the university will be a good experience for me.
I want to go to Hoosier Girls State so I can better my community when I return. I can use the new leadership skills that I acquire at Girls State to help run my school’s Student Council, National Honor Society, and Sunshine Society. Leadership skills are very important for me because I am currently the Vice President of Sunshine Society, and I will be campaigning for President next year. I hope to continue to be an efficient leader for our Sunshine members, and lead by example for the underclassmen.
I am a firm believer that in order to be happy and successful, you need to have a job that you love to do. This ideology is what motivated me to want to become a nurse practitioner and help the people in my community. Attending California State University, Los Angeles is allowing me to pursue my academic goal of getting into the nursing program. I aspire to get my bachelors of science in nursing to be able to become a registered nurse. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, I will pursue a master of science in nursing to become a nurse practitioner.
My long term goals are to acquire my Doctorate of Nursing Practice after completing the Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner concentration program. I would use my advance practice license in a clinical setting and later give back and share my knowledge and expertise in an educator role. I started working in the health care field five years ago as a CNA. My goals have changed slightly as I have been in school. I now want to become a Nurse Practitioner. My plan is to finish at York County with a Health Studies Associate and then move onto my BSN than to an NP. The challenges I face while on this journey is exhaustion.

I am in my third year of nursing and I am currently working in a hospital on an Orthopedic Neurological Trauma Unit. I collaborate with patients to identify the prominent health issues they are experiencing and advocate to ensure the care they receive is the most effective for their healing process. Also, I am going to start getting paid when I am still doing my schooling because you have to start as a Registered Nurse. It was me, my sister, and my grandma with support from my uncle, and it is still like this today. My sister and I came from a public school, but by the seventh grade, it was time to choose where we were going to go to high school. I could have chosen any school I wanted to go to.
Academic Goal The academic goal I have set forth is to do my very best in all my courses only A’s and B’s. This way I will have increased my odds in being accepted into multiple nursing programs so I can take the right step in achieving my first career goal as an ER rn . I believe this is a realistic goal as long I apply myself and stay dedicated I know I can reach that goal.
I have a heart for service and a strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives. That is my hardest goal out of every goal I have which is intimidating but I plan on using my arranger and consistency strengths to help me through it. Getting my RN will take me three years from now. I have two more semesters left of prerequisites left to finish before I can get accepted into nursing school then I will apply to Valdosta State University and complete my schooling in the top of my class. It will take a lot of hard work and studying and determination but I have to push through it in order to be content the way I want in my life. I started worked in an emergency room in June of 2017 and that it when I decided I want to be a nurse.
College was always one of my long term goals as I continued with my education. Throughout the years I began to work harder and harder so I could secure my future. I knew that getting to college would not be easy. I am about to embark on a four year journey in one of the hardest fields to pursue. I will continue my education as a Nursing major at a four year university.
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
