Mr. Linden’s Library I am Abigail Frindies and do I have a story for you! It all starts when I went to my local library and saw a book called Mr. Linden ’s Library. I checked it out and I was about to leave, but I heard, a librarian faintly say, “I tried to warn her about the book, but it was too late.”
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Throughout my life I have always set goals and worked extremely hard to achieve them. Planning realistic goals give me clarity on what I ultimately want. It makes me crystallize and articulate the desires floating in my mind. Setting goals have always helped me achieve my highest potential.
You can't just sit there and do nothing and expect your goals to be achieved. You have to work hard for what you want. You always have to be doing something to achieve your goals. Let's use another example. Let's say someone wants to get a career of becoming a teacher.

I have always been a very goal driven and determined person. When I want something or set a goal to get or do something, I make sure that I achieve that. I absolutely love working with high school students. I taught high school before, but counseling in a high school creates a different dynamic with the students. I love interaction, relationship with students, counseling and diversity of each day. Working with students and families through the college admissions process is quite rewarding and provides a nice balance to the problems that I handle day to day. I love the positive and proactive spirit of applying to college and the excitement it brings to the student.
"Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible", (Tony Robbins). This indicates striving to be successful even if it means failure. I plan on achieving my main goal so I can have a bright future in my career path. In order to achieve my life goal, I have already begun to work towards my goal and I plan to continue with an organized plan. Both short-term and long-term goals will help me set a better understanding of a successful future.
My goals have changed a lot over the last couple of years. Bouncing back and forth between majors and deciding if I even want to be taking college classes right now. I kept asking myself why I should struggle with hard classes when I have a good job right now. But then I stopped and repeated “good job right now.” My job as a twenty year old might support me right now but is it going to support me in ten or fifteen years when I’m trying to buy a house and support my family?

College was always one of my long term goals as I continued with my education. Throughout the years I began to work harder and harder so I could secure my future. I knew that getting to college would not be easy. I am about to embark on a four year journey in one of the hardest fields to pursue. I will continue my education as a Nursing major at a four year university.

My major career goal is to go into buisness, and within the buisness industry I want to become a Human Resources Manager.
From time to time, refer to your plan to remind yourself of your aims and to fire your motivation. Written goals will make you feel more serious about and connected to your aims and it will also free you from having to work out every day what your goals are. This will save you time which you can then use on fulfilling your self-improvement
When I graduate high school, I plan on having future goals that I plan on achieving. My first goal is to go to college and get a degree. I plan on attending Purdue NorthWest majoring in engineering and minoring in business. This is my number one future goal that I need to accomplish because to be able to have a nice life, I need to go to college to support my future family. My next future goal would be get a starting job to be able to support my future family.
