In High School, there 's a strict lesson plan that schools follow when it comes to learning math or any other subjects. High School teaches their student all different types of history, math and a wider range of English and science classes. The question is, how do kids use these different type of course that they’re being placed in later on in their future? High School is where teenagers learn how to become responsible young adults, teaching high school students how to calculate income tax, manage their income, maintaining good credit, and other essential life skills. Instilling these lessons helps navigate them into the real world post high school.
It would be an honor to be among the exemplary students who represent the National Honor Society. The first time I heard about NHS was in the second semester of my freshman year. Ever since then I pushed myself to work hard. Thinking that by pushing myself harder to get that A in that one academically challenging class, putting on a smile every day, and getting better at time management while displaying character, scholarship, leadership, and service will help me to become an NHS student who represents the ideology of the club. In many environments, in and out of school, I believe I display those qualities.
I know I would be a great contribution to Seamab School due to my knowledge of your school’s therapeutic approach. Utilising the practice of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy, is how I conduct my teaching practice daily. I find this is the most beneficial way to teach not only for me but also for my learners. I am committed to implementing the nurture principles within my practice, promoting restorative practice, and building upon the learner's social and emotional skills. I am empathic and passionate about working with children and vulnerable individuals.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.

Personal Statement I come from a large family with relatives from a little ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. Many of which have never made it past grade school. Mainly due to their mother, my grandma, she had fallen very ill. Due to her condition and lack of money my aunts and uncles dropped out of school to work and help pay for her medication and medical expenses. The older siblings had to take care of the younger siblings.
I found this role very fulfilling as I was able to help the students overcome their
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
The more I don’t know, the more I know. The more I realize I don’t understand, the more I discover my desire to know more about psychology. My interest in educational psychology was triggered by my first experience in changing schools.
Revealing that these programs mean way more to the student than academic success. They provide means of guidance in forms of communicating with others to help objectives of future workplaces and overall futures to come. Communication is huge and if one is unable to collaborate properly amongst his and or her peers then one is not fit for the workplace. Additionally, they combine academic progress with social skills and make it so they intertwine. The AIJ goes on to extend there case by stating, “ professional school counseling services model makes them “uni1quely qualified to address all students’ academic, career and personal/social development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student success” (Administrative Issues Journal P 8).

Personal Narrative Essay Believe it or not, sometimes a gracious action can bring a huge influence on a person. When I read the introduction that instructor Heller wrote, there is a sentence she wrote: “Sometimes the most influential moments in our lives are smaller moments, events that we may not recognize as influential until years after the experience.” For some reason, I related to it strongly. My story is about my high school experience. Also, I will share some significant moments in my life, and how these smaller moments changed my personality.
High school grows you into the person you are. I have great memories, good and bad, some learning experiences and some that I’ll take with me the rest of my life. My high school experience has influenced my development as a person inside and outside of the class by making me more independent, choosing friends wisely and teachers motivating me to attend college and accomplish goals I have set for myself. I have gained my independence slowly throughout high school. The importance of being independent is being secure with who you are and what you believe in.
