DACA Needs To Stay If one works hard for a job that interests them, one would think it is only fair for that person to keep the job. What if that person gets that job taken away from them? Just recently, Donald Trump is ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals(DACA), that helps people that were brought into the U.S illegally, get permission to work, study, obtain driver's licenses, and reprieve from deportation. DACA is an extremely important program that should not end, but to stay intact. It helps younger people who were brought into the U.S illegally get better opportunities, and it also benefits the U.S itself. Education is important for a certain career one wants and also to educate someone to get further in life. “The Obama administration felt that minors brought into the U.S. illegally should not be at fault for literally existing and wanting to pursue a better life in their current surroundings ”(Fitzgerald).If one wants to pursue a better life, they should be allowed to do so! Why is it even remotely okay to try to prevent someone from doing what they want to accomplish? “Maybe you believe that immigration, especially the unauthorized variety, is a threat to national security. Maybe you’re convinced that DACA is unconstitutional” (Harris). Because a few people who could be cruel, are immigrants, it does not mean that every single immigrant is like that. People are extremely bias and believe in the stereotype that if one person is cruel, everyone else within that race, is as well. Immigrants are just as hard-working, if not, more hard-working than U.S. citizens themselves. Citizens have it easy, and plenty of them take advantage of their status as a
