I believe the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science, and the Arts is the right place to continue my studies, because I love how the classes are based on the U of A academic system and that ASMSA offers an opportunity to obtain advanced college level knowledge before high school graduation. That being said, ASMSA still has a college life atmosphere which I think prepares the students to be more adjusted to what real college will be like. I also enjoy the fact that your professors are eager to help at almost any given time. On top of that, ASMSA will teach me viable skills like researching skills, time management skills, and self-discipline, also it will give me the great privilege of graduating with at least 30 concurrent hours which will

I’m currently a student at San Joaquin Valley College, working towards becoming a certified medical assistant in which I have proficiency in typing skills and accomplished CPR and HIPAA certification. My passion is the medical field where I can assist the needs and services of others while being able to connect and create a comfortable environment for patients. On an interpersonal level, I excel as a conversationalist to personalize each interaction I encounter. With previous volunteer work for organizations, I’ve come to realize I strive in wanting to make a positive difference in people’s lives and hope to one day be able to do it on a daily basis. Making a difference in people’s lives at times can take the littlest effort and in doing so
Medical Assisting Being a wife and mother of three; I decided that I would return to school to better myself and my family. Mostly to get out and be around people and to help in my community. When researching about medical assisting the article informed me about the future jobs and pay of medical assistants. Medical assistants complete administrative and clinical tasks in the offices of physicians, podiatrist, chiropractors and other health practitioners. Medical assistant duties vary within location, specialty and size of the practice.
Every dime I earn working at Reynolds Community College and every grant and scholarship I receive will go towards my passion of studying human behavior and applying everything I learn to bringing every community I can reach, a giant leap forward. After receiving my associates degree in Social a Science I decided to take a year off to work towards finding what it is that I really want to pursue. I have searched for that 'something ' that will keep me intrigued and awake all hours of the night without realizing it. I have eliminated the idea of simply working to make ends meet or finding a good job to support my family and "living" outside the 40+ hours of a weekday job. I am pursuing much more and I am confident that I have found a path leading me to wake up before my alarm clock sounds instead of praying for more time.
I am a 27-year-old mother and fiancé. My goal is to complete my science prerequisite classes with 4.0’s so that I can apply to the Physician Assistant program at Western Michigan University. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from WMU and I am currently working as a Medical Assistant. I have a son named Lorenzo, his first birthday is a couple hours away! In my very limited free time I like to work out through a program called Fit Body Boot Camp.
If you asked me “What do you want to be when you grow up?” at the age of 5, I’d tell you I wanted to be a vet. At the age of 10, I would have replied “a doctor”. At 15, I would've said nurse. Now, at 18 years old, I have the dream of becoming a physician assistant.
Whether it was from going on mission trips and working alongside my peers to help rebuild a community or performing and competing as a dancer, being a part of a team is something that I have always been very comfortable with. In 7th grade I found a new team that I would since aspire to be a part of. I became utterly fascinated with the medical field and all it had to offer because as a young teen I spent a lot of time as a patient in and out of the hospital and saw many providers from different specialties. I loved seeing the way in which different members of a healthcare team worked together for my benefit. While being the patient may have initiated my infatuation with the field, I knew that one day I had to be on the other side.
The desire to want to become a nurse grew stronger once I started working as a Medical Assistant back in 2004. I had been introduced to so many departments I couldn’t decide which one I enjoyed the most. However, I can definitely say working in pediatrics was a bit scary for me. I was young with no kids and I felt awkward at times with other people’s kids, especially taking care of sick kids and be the stranger that had to gain their trust in a short amount of time to collect the information, I needed to help the Doctor do his or her job.
I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.
I have worked to safeguard children and promote their welfare, which includes protecting them from maltreatment or things that are bad for their health or development; and making sure they grow up in circumstances that allow safe and effective care. I work in partnership with service users to support social integration, empowering them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting health outcomes, resilience, peer support, employment opportunities and self-determination. I am excited at the possibility to develop new skills, undertake more training and willing to take on any new challenge such as urine screening and handling body fluid
Personal Statement for NQT Year I have been lucky enough to have been taught by some truly inspirational teachers and am aware of the effect they have had on my life and the choices I have made subsequently. My own passion for working with young children extends from my desire to emulate these role models and perform the same inspirational function in the lives of my students. I have always enjoyed being around young people and have supplemented my interests in primary teaching with as much work experience as possible. I completed my PGCE Education course and qualified in 2006.
Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to make a difference and help anyone in need that I possibly could. From the start of my childhood, I can recall helping my mother care for my great grandparents, so they would be able to live out the rest of their lives from their home, instead of in a nursing home. As a young child it was extremely difficult to live with and watch my loved ones deteriorate as they got older, as their condition got worse and worse, and saw my mother having a difficult time keeping up with caring for both of my great grandparents 24/7, it put a lot of stress on the family. However, I am grateful to have been able to help my mother care for them. Growing up in such a caring and loving household made the situation
My responsibilities included research and analysis of case studies relevant to a new pricing implementation proposal we were working on for the national energy provider. My consulting experience complements the Creative Futures unit, as they both emphasise innovation in business processes and risk management. I am eager to study this unit because it will expand my knowledge on the development and incorporation of sustainable practices into current manufacturing and sourcing processes, which will be useful when I begin my career. Pursuing my interests, I secured an internship at a fashion event planning company, Stylo International. While working on the research and planning of the first Malaysia Fashion week, I attended a meeting with representatives from MATRADE, the National Trade Promotion Agency, which provided me with knowledge transferable to the Managing Fashion Projects unit in this course.
