I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.
I am looking for more than just academics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my four years at Northwood High School, I became involved in numerous academic and extracurricular activities. As a result, I have been recognized and honored for achievements both inside and outside of school. I realize that titles and academic achievements are limited, but some of the impact I have on my community and other people’s lives is what really matters. Therefore, I plan to continue my active involvement in extracurricular activities while I am a college student.
Hi Brian, I am contacting you about a issue that I am running into with my ASM. I am a new store manager for Office Depot since Oct, 9th at the Columbia Mo, location and I am having trouble with my ASM completing simple task lists as well as day in the life tasks. This was one of the first issues that I attempted to fix as soon as I arrived at the store, being that when I showed up in October the store had not completed portal tasks since the begging of September and were failing to complete the day in the life processes, displaying a lack of accountability on his behalf of the management team. He is having a hard time in his roll since I have been at the store as the current store manager, and has consistently come up short on completing tasks
There was no life-changing event or catastrophic injury that ignited my passion for medicine. It started out as an interest that grew as I grew. Through volunteering in the healthcare field as well as leadership at my university, I was able to eventually put into words why I so dearly wanted to devote my life to medicine; simply impact and leadership. My interest in becoming a physician was always there, I loved the idea of being able to apply my scientific knowledge to help heal people.
Throughout high school I have participated in many different activities and programs, but one of the opportunities I was given I will carry with me forever. As a junior at River Valley I participated in the Marion General Teen Volunteer Program. After interviewing and being placed in the physical therapy unit I took the opportunity to branch out into other areas of the hospital. I soon made my way to the labor and delivery floor where everyday a miracle happened. My duties while volunteering included assisting the nurses during hearing checks, changing diapers, and rocking crying infants in special care.

One night I was hanging out with my friend. We were talking about life and then she asked me about school, how long I have left there, what’s my major, and what I would like to do with it.
I’m currently a student at San Joaquin Valley College, working towards becoming a certified medical assistant in which I have proficiency in typing skills and accomplished CPR and HIPAA certification. My passion is the medical field where I can assist the needs and services of others while being able to connect and create a comfortable environment for patients. On an interpersonal level, I excel as a conversationalist to personalize each interaction I encounter. With previous volunteer work for organizations, I’ve come to realize I strive in wanting to make a positive difference in people’s lives and hope to one day be able to do it on a daily basis. Every dime I earn working at Reynolds Community College and every grant and scholarship I receive will go towards my passion of studying human behavior and applying everything I learn to bringing every community I can reach, a giant leap forward. After receiving my associates degree in Social a Science I decided to take a year off to work towards finding what it is that I really want to pursue. I have searched for that 'something ' that will keep me intrigued and awake all hours of the night without realizing it. I have eliminated the idea of simply working to make ends meet or finding a good job to support my family and "living" outside the 40+ hours of a weekday job. I am pursuing much more and I am confident that I have found a path leading me to wake up before my alarm clock sounds instead of praying for more time.
As an aspiring physician, I believe that ILS will prepare me for success both inside and outside of the classroom. Through the connections, opportunities, and support I will receive in the ILS program, I know that I will best be prepared to apply to medical school. I value mentorship and am excited to have access to faculty mentors to guide me in my progress. The close community between peers and professors intrigues me to join this community and learn from a like-minded community. I am specifically excited to take new courses such as HLSC208, to learn about connections between molecular biology and computer programming.
I am a 27-year-old mother and fiancé. My goal is to complete my science prerequisite classes with 4.0’s so that I can apply to the Physician Assistant program at Western Michigan University. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from WMU and I am currently working as a Medical Assistant. I have a son named Lorenzo, his first birthday is a couple hours away! In my very limited free time I like to work out through a program called Fit Body Boot Camp.
I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.
Whether it was from going on mission trips and working alongside my peers to help rebuild a community or performing and competing as a dancer, being a part of a team is something that I have always been very comfortable with. In 7th grade I found a new team that I would since aspire to be a part of. I became utterly fascinated with the medical field and all it had to offer because as a young teen I spent a lot of time as a patient in and out of the hospital and saw many providers from different specialties. I loved seeing the way in which different members of a healthcare team worked together for my benefit. While being the patient may have initiated my infatuation with the field, I knew that one day I had to be on the other side.
I have grown and refined my capacity to use initiative, make judgments, and accept responsibility for my own actions as a healthcare assistant. This component of my job is essential to making sure that safe and efficient treatment is provided. Here, I'll consider how my time working as a healthcare assistant has helped me improve in these areas. Using Initiative: Over time, I have become more proactive in identifying and addressing patient needs. I have learned to anticipate potential issues, take initiative in providing support, and seek opportunities to enhance patient comfort and well-being.
My purpose for seeking a Masters Degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication is to expand my knowledge as it pertains to the Communication field. I particularly want to fine-tune my people skills, improve my public speaking skills and acquire research expertise to be able to roll out new products to the relevant markets. These are my key areas of interest as I feel that it is important to gain these organizational and strategic skills which are imperative to becoming a lifelong leader. My broad array of experiences combined with a degree in Corporate Communication from Northeastern University will accord me credibility among my future colleagues and people that I will be serving in this field.
Personal Statement Essay Engineering is the branch of science and technology concerned with design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. I have always had an interest in the way things work, and since I was young, science and mathematics have been my favorite subjects. My interest is science and mathematics, particularly Physics, has blossomed throughout my school live. I also enjoy the challenge of solving everyday problems with scientific and mathematical ideas. Last year I participated in an internship at Lockheed Martin within the fabrication department, where I worked with the: Structural, electrical, and composites departments.
