Why are there specific animals that are endangered or going extinct? Because humans are to blame. This essay will explore the different ways of why trophy hunting is treacherous and why we should ban it. There is nothing humane about bringing an animal into the biosphere only to profit off their death. Prophet Muhammad once said, “Whoever is kind to the creatures of God is kind to himself”. While trophy hunting often brings in money to certain locations, it’s counterproductive to the overall knowledge of conservation. Why shoot something you supposedly want to shield? When and where will the greed of humans end? Do we really have to destroy everything to finally realize we cannot live without it? Killing helpless animals for the sake of pleasure and glory is cruel! The ignorant action of the hunters just for the showcase of their glory is out of any reasonable thoughts, animals suffer enormously when they are killed and decapitated. It’s a shame that these so-called people kill animals only for putting some souvenir at their workplace or house. When hunters hunt innocent animals for amusement, it diminishes them from the environment. Since many of the game animals are on the approach of becoming extinct, it is advised not to practice trophy hunting to feel fulfilled on the killing of guiltless wildlife animals. The preservation of such extinct animals is more important than mere desire of keeping them in a trophy area as the matter of hunters’ smugness. Here is a fact: In Africa remains less than 20,000 lions, God created animals so that we can look at their beauty not to kill them for our own joy. Animals just like humans have a nervous system which allows them to feel pain. How would you think it would feel if someone was dragging you by a hook that has been punctured right through your cheek or some other part of your body? Would you want to be shot?
