School segregation is a recurring problem, and the epitome of current day subtle racism. After the 14th amendment was passed, there were countless cases filled with people complaining their 14th Amendment right has been violated. One case that many know of is Brown V. Board of Education, or the case that lead to the integration in Little Rock. The 14th Amendment states that every citizen must be given the same privileges and none of these privileges can be taken away without due process of the law. Dozens of battles have been fought to integrate schools throughout the many years since this Amendment was passed. Although some were successful, the vast majority of the United States is still segregated and majority black schools have substantially worse facilities, teachers, supplies and in overall quality of the school.
