The majorities of those who use their phones while driving identify themselves as “good drivers” and say that it’s perfectly fine unless you’re a beginner. PSA’s are commonly seen during commercial breaks, so they’re considered ‘junk time’. However, there are some people who even during watching shows will stay on the channel to watch commercials, and when the PSA’s come on it can influence them greatly. For example, if Person A watching a Comedy show sticks around to see a serious PSA they are likely to be moved by it and possibly even stop texting and driving if they do so already. In this modern day, where technology is everything, paper pamphlets won’t work like they used to. It’s essential to connect with people on something they are common with, and everyone watches television. This is what makes an effective PSA, and this is what makes PSA’s extremely effective.
