So many accidents happen every day. Statistics shows that 1,600,000 people are in car accidents and 330,000 are injured yearly. There is an average of 11 teen deaths daily; 25% of those deaths are related to car accidents. Lastly, 75% of young adults think there’s nothing wrong with texting and driving. These numbers increases every year. The easiest way to solve this solution is to completely stop texting and driving, especially teenagers. People who choose to text while driving is about the same as driving after drinking four beers and also about 6 times more likely for you to cause and accident than driving intoxicated. I feel that the only ways people can learn from their mistakes are for them to actually experience it. Learning from experience might help promote it because they can tell a friend who can tell a friend. On the other hand, I feel as if some advertisements work because they actually show commercials where day to day accidents are being made due to texting and driving. They illustrate this by using actors or even crash dummies sometimes. I also know of other texting and driving commercials that show real life texts of the last message a person received prior to them getting in an accident and usually resulting in the person passing way. This specific commercial demonstrates deep emotions on the fact that you could lose a love one in the blink of an eye. The other advertisements indicate how bad an impact can be harmful to your body. This opens up some people eyes because it gives them the idea that this situation could end up resulting in it happening to them if they don’t stop texting and
