Texting and driving is a fatal flaw that has caused hundreds of thousands of peoples their lives. NHTSA leads the national effort to save lives by creating campaigns to visualize the reality of this dangerous behavior. An ad that will be forever sketched into my mind because it illustrates the harsh actuality of texting and driving. This ad depicts a woman lying in a two-way street, face down. The street is empty only showing the women lying there. Her leg appears to be mangled, possibly broken. The woman’s right shoe is yards away from her body. On the asphalt, you can see tire marks, illustrating a hard attempt to stop. In quotations, above the body, it says “When I’m texting, I usually speed up without knowing”. This seems to be the words of an individual giving their two cents on texting and driving and how it affects them.
