Bring Our Troops Home
In the United States many people believe that maybe our troops should not be overseas in the middle east. In the Iraq and Afghanistan, we've lost 6,831 soldiers for being in a war that we didn't have to be in. I don't believe we should still have our troops overseas for reasons not concerning to us.
The reasons we should bring our troops home are countless but one of the top ones is that the Afghan and Iraq war is the longest in American history. Vietnam and Afghanistan are nearly the same size and with Vietnam being a poor country in 70s, and sending over 537,000 american troops to stabilize the country and turn it away from communism didn't work. You’d think the government would think back to that time when now what these poor countries, Afghanistan being the fourth poorest countries, would need social and economic development not our troops. There is no way to win this war
