Before Roe v. wade the number of deaths from illegal abortions was around 5000 and in the 50s and 60s the number of illegal abortions ranged from 200,000 to 1.2 million per year. These illegal abortions pose major health risks to the life of the woman including damage to the bladder, intestines as well as rupturing of the uterus. The choice to become a mother must be given to the woman most importantly because it’s her body, her health, and she will be taking on a great responsibility. A woman’s choice to choose abortion should not be restricted by anyone; there are multiple reasons why abortion will be the more sensible decision for the female.
In current news and for the past few years the topic of abortion has been a very prevalent and heated argument. Both sides to this topic argue over who is right and who is wrong, the liberal side believing that abortion should be legal while the conservative side believes that abortion is wrong and should be banned. There lies middle ground where certain people agree recklessness should not be cared for, but those who are victims of rape and sexual violence should be. Overall the topic is discussed often and is the center of many politicians campaign, by either abolishing it as a thing or by making it more affordable and available to everyone.
The pro-choice/pro-life is a major argument in politics in the United States today. However it is not so simple as pro-choice and pro-life. Pro-choice has been coined to mean that women should have the right to choose abortion and it should be a legal option. Pro-life has been connected with the banning of abortion and looking at a fetus as a life so abortion is basically murder. However this pro-life view has gotten very convoluted.

Pregnancies can often occur at a point in time when a women is not ready to bring a child into the world, whether it is because they are too young to raise a child, they are currently living under the federal poverty line and are unable to support another human being, or a child would “interfere with their education and career goals” (Lawerence). Statistics show that of those who are getting abortions, 38% of women said it would “interfere with their education and career goals”(Lawerence), 73% said they could not afford to raise a child, and 42% of them are under the federal poverty level (Guttmacher
Abolish Abortion Did you know that just in the United States over 3,000 people have abortions every day? An abortion is when a woman is injected with a fatal substance to kill their unborn baby. It is legal in all 50 states except one type of abortion procedure; Partial-birth-abortion. Women have abortions for many reasons, some being that they are not ready for that kind of commitment or they have been raped and got pregnant. For Instance the Christian worldview abortion is forbidden, because it is against the commandments of God. In the postmodern worldview laws which are against or not supporting abortion are not acceptable. People who are against abortion are protecting lives of the unborn babies and the Christian worldview. Those who are for the idea of abortion are protecting women rights to choose and the postmodern worldview.
