I believe abortion should be legal without any boundaries. No need of parental consent laws, no mandated ultrasounds, no bans on late term abortions and no bans on federal funding for abortion. I also believe women should be able to become a mother when they want to , how they want to and without any interference from the government. Women wouldn 't and should not feel they have to prove that their abortion is of the "acceptable" variety. We should not have to pretend that women who are raped are somehow more deserving of medical care than women who’s not. We could rid ourselves of the hierarchy of "good" and "bad" abortions.
Since laws prohibiting abortion inhibit freedom of own choice and endanger a women’s life, the Dominican Republic should allow abortion. Teenage pregnancy is the most noticeable. “The United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) says 105 of every 1,000 teenagers become pregnant in Dominican Republic, much higher than the world average of 49.” Now, you may all ask. Well, if this teenager knew what she was getting into, it’s her consequence, so she must accepts the responsibility. But what about the girls in the lower society, which do not get appropriate amount of education? How would they know what do? Illegalizing abortion increases teenage pregnancy.
