Euthanasia is commonly practiced outside the United States of America; even though, its practice global still creates controversy if euthanasia should be allowed. James Rachael is a philosopher who believes in active euthanasia and passive euthanasia because it allows the patient to make their own decision on whether or not to continue some or no medical intervention. You would think who wants to die? Well, when you place the option to the patient who is enduring the tremendous amount of pain and misery it would be the Utilitarianism to avoid pain and create a happy environment for the patient. Everyone is in control of what they would allow entering in your body in a normal and extreme situation. For example, you have every right to decline medical treatment if you're against blood transfusion, organ donor, feeding tube or breathing machine. Whether it's for personal or religion value why you decline medical treatment. At this point, if an individual is decline medical treatment, most people have already accepted their faith either by choosing active euthanasia or passive euthanasia because they ultimately know they're going to die.
