Have you ever seen one of those ASPCA (American Society of the Protection of Cruelty to Animals) commercials saying how animals need YOUR help and fill you mind with pictures of sad dogs and cats until they guilt you into paying 40 cents a day. Well i see those commercials everyday and when i see them for the millionth time i think… if they find all of the animals in pain how o they stop the person who did it to them? That's the thing in the U.S. it is a law that animal abuse is a punishable offense, but in most states of the U.S. animal abusers get off with misdemeanors. I'm not saying that everyone who hurts an animal shall be put on death Row or have a 30 year sentence ,but that there are consequences to animal abuse. It's just that the laws that are but on animal rights just aren't working and need to fix.
