According to Animal Rights, one useful option is to take part in petitions. Petitions about this cause can help people understand more about pet abandonment. Getting a reasonable amount of signatures can speak by itself; that this many people want to get involved in your cause. To reach a goal of any reasonable number of signatures, it can help if you go to a public site. A popular place with many people can attract signers.
