Society has this target on girls to have the perfect body, the the girls the want are between the ages of 12-18. The commercials and magazines give the idea of the perfect body is to be thin. Give the victoria secret commercial for example every one of those girls is thin and airbrushed. Now the dove commercial is not the same they aren't really skinny and nor do they have airbrushed faces and bodys. Perfect people don't exist and real people aren't perfect. Humans are not perfect and not one of them are perfect. No one has the same body type or hair color. Everyday people experience bullying about the way they look about their bodies from their peers, family members and even their selfs. Society changes it mind on the way they want girls to look. They go from wanting bigger girls to girls who look no bigger than a toothpick. It isn't only girls who struggle with what society want it's also boys, the are told they have to look muscular and “yummy.” The “having the perfect body type” will never go away, here will always be girls who struggle and who are being bullied for the way they look. If young adolescents would learn to love themselves and not care what others think then the teen suicide percent would go down and health problems would decrease and a constant rate. I think parents need to teach their kids that they are perfect just the way they are and they don't need to change for anyone but themselves. They also need to teach boys to not judge a girl on how they look but their mind sets, girls get set home from schools all the time because their shoulders are showing but if boys wouldn't look at those things then they wouldn't be so self conscious. The wa girls dress doesn't need to have an affect on how boys learn, it shouldn't matter how they look or appear. Every single person the perfect just the way they are, you don't need to change your body or your hair you are perfect the way god made
