There is not much that the governments of the world are doing to stop drug trafficking since it will take too much money. According to the government, the war against drugs will not receive more funding until it becomes a nation-wide problem, and presently it is not. Governments face another problem with fighting drugs, and that is that they do not know how to fight it. Drug trafficking is an international problem and stopping it in one country does not guarantee that the traffickers will not move into another.
