Within the last decade, 1,600 school districts in the United States are using a four-day model schedule. All around the country, many researchers say that they believe a four-day week is beneficial for teachers and students. Switching to a four-day week can help schools save money in many ways, and a four-day week will allow the week to be more manageable. Also, the school day would only be longer by about an hour. Overall, schools should switch to a four-day week. One reason schools should transition to a four-day week is that schools would save money in many ways.
