There has been a lot of controversy recently surrounding the issue with guns in the United States. With all of these mass shootings in schools and public places, people have noticed what guns can do, and that there should be more restrictions on how to get guns. But people have only seen one side of the story. Guns can be used in many ways to save lives, such as self defense, or to stop criminals from harming innocent people. There should not be more Gun control in the United States of America. Guns have many positive ways of use, such as protection. One way you can use a gun for protection is self defense. If someone were to break into your house, a gun would be the most useful and efficient way. If you were to use other self defense weapons, such as a kitchen knife, a lot of things can go wrong. First, you will have to know where the attacker is, mostly so you can equip yourself with a kitchen knife. Second, you will have to face the home invader with hand to hand combat, which can go very wrong if he has more than a knife. The black market is a place to illegally obtain guns, bullets, and illegal weapons. Not only is this easy to obtain, but the prices on these weapons are way cheaper than if you were to buy a weapon from a gun store. Instead of banning legal guns that civilians have to protect themselves with, We should make it hard to access the black market. This is just one way to limit a Killers options at buying a gun, but killers will still find a way to kill. No matter how many laws and restrictions placed on guns, that will only limit legal ways to get these guns. Killers can also get guns through gun trafficking, and stealing.These laws will not stop what they are thinking, and how they can possibly get them illegally. This means more gun restrictions will not
