When you think of internet in school, you usually think of things such as online college and lessons, but what about internet in younger grades? In the educational system, it has become controversial whether it is appropriate to use electronics and the internet in a school at a high school or elementary level. According to a prestigious report, “digital development has caused a great impact on the youngest population” (Rakel Gamito Gomez). This technology has various positive and negative aspects of it that have caused a disturbance in multiple states.

Assignments can be handled online to a certain extent. During class, the students are able to work on their assignments and homework at his/her own pace. If the projects are incomplete, the student would need to manage the work outside of the school setting. That is exceptional only if the child has access to the internet beyond the school grounds. What should the student do if they do not have a way to connect to the world wide web? If this problem were to arise, a program should be implemented into the school in order to help destitute children access the internet free of charge. To accompany this idea, in order for the children to return home safely a bus should be prepared later in the afternoon to bring the children home. If this program fails to be established, one must think of other ways the child could complete his/her assignments. Keep in mind: the situation between each student differs. A teacher might suggest going to a local convenience store in order to fulfill the duty placed upon the student. Indeed, there may be nearby public establishments with free Wifi, but how could the student get there if they have no mode of transportation? One cannot rely on the student to find their way to a
