I expect it to be really challenging and hard. From what I have heard you get a lot of homework and essays. Since my teachers in middle school are really good I don’t think I will have a problem in high school. I also expect high school to be a lot of fun.
When I started Unity High School I thought that it was going to be boring school because my first choice was Skyline but my mom made me come to this school so I had to obey what my mom wants because she takes care of me and helps me with whatever I need help with so going to the school that she wanted me to go to was the least I could have done. I thought that high school was going to be difficult because the work that my brother would bring home when he was in high school looked really hard and I did not understand most of the work he needed to complete. But I realized that I need to be taught the material before I go on and do the work
Junior year was a bit challenging for me. It was not challenging because of the work, but I joined a career program. I had to keep up with both of my schools. For me to be successful with so many things going on, I had to stay organized and think ahead. My success was that I kept all my grades above a C+.
Especially my freshmen year of high school was right after the Covid 19 pandemic when I only saw the same three friends for almost 6 months. But after months of having doubts and overthinking what high school was going to be like in middle school, it
The Freshman 15 is a thought that crosses the minds of most future college students, but most say that it won’t happen to them. This fear of losing a toned body after graduating high school bothers some more than others. They realize after high school there are no longer athletics, and they’ll no longer be exercising regularly. Also, when they depart from their parents house and begin to live on their own their eating habits change.
School Should Start Later A recent poll conducted by the National Sleep Foundation found that 60% of children under the age of 18 complained of being tired during the day, according to their parents, and 15% said they fell asleep at school during the year. This proves that kids aren’t getting enough sleep before school. I believe that a later middle school start time would have many beneficial effects on kids. As a result, kids would be more focused in class because they would be getting more sleep, that would lead to better grades, and finally reduced absenteeism.
Entering Junior year, you are told that it will be the hardest and paramount year of your high school
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world (“Education Quotes”).” A strong education is key, especially to the students in schools right now, preparing to enter the workforce. There has been much debate about whether or not year-round schools should be used more in the United States. Year-round schools have a total of 180 days of instruction, but instead of a long 2-3 month break for summer, the students get about a month off and the rest of the days a distributed throughout the calendar. Some common calendar types for year round schools are 60/20 which is 60 days of instruction and 20 days of break and the 45/15 which is 45 days of instruction and 15 days of break (“Year-Round Education

When I was in MacCracken middle school, I always wondered what it would be like when I went to Spartanburg high. I kind of wished someone would have told me what high school would be like. Now that I have been here for a year and a half, it is not that hard. I have managed to learn not only a lot in class but also a lot about Spartanburg High School and its people. Friendships and reasonability are areas that I think students in the eighth- grade student should know before they arrive.
My school got a federal grant of one million dollars. I believe that there are many things that Carroll County Middle school could do with the federal grant. I hope the school spends the money wisely. I think CCMS needs to make the school bigger, make better food, and buy newer supplies with the money. One thing I think my school should do with the money is make the school bigger.
but you’re starting something new without knowing many people. The biggest difference is the amount of pressure on you. Highschool was definitely scary at first. Sometimes you don’t know anyone on top of the school material being harder, and new standards that you must meet. At first you don’t know how to handle it and it can be stressful.
According to Zooey Deschanel, nothing can be as hard as middle school. I was a big scaredy cat when I started middle school in 5th grade. My guts were flipping and flopping on that first day. Even though I didn’t know any teachers or friends, I made new friends and met new teachers. I had Mrs. Wherley as a homeroom teacher, she was nice as pie to me.
My high school experience was a long, frustrating learning experience. I didn’t know what to expect, or what I was getting myself into. Nobody gave me the tools to understand the main focus of each year. I am going to give you tips and advice on how to succeed in high school. I will discuss 9-12th grade along with what to expect each year.
This is what happened to me, but in the end I passed my subjects. However, I got three failures during that year, so I couldn’t be there the next year. My mom was disappointed at the end, because the teacher could not do anything about the 3 failures, so I had to change schools. I feel that at this age was hard for me because I had all my friends and my brothers in that school. Now, I was going to be by myself in another school.
