In our society today, we live in a world where alcohol and cigarette are fully legal in our country, but we are still deliberating on making marijuana legal especially for medical purposes. The hesitations on making it fully legal for recreational use its justifiable, but when it comes to the medical aspects of marijuana, I believe that a lot of considerations and researches should be dedicated to the medical aspect of marijuana especially when the uses of medical researches has been linked to PSTD, pains, Chemotherapy and a whole lot more. Marijuana’s negatives connotation has hindered the progression of its medical side. When looking at the nations predicament on the advancement and stagnation of medical marijuana, I honestly believe that the hesitation towards legalizing marijuana for medical purposes nationwide, it’s mostly due to the uncertainties of the futures repercussions.
