The chances are remote,but the fear lingers.that a day will come when a forlorn child in some part of the world will ask,"dad,what it was like before the oceans died?"esppecially when one has spent almost a lifetime transiting through meandering thoughts over the ocean, it is depressing to the hapelesness bundled within a state of haplessness all around when the issue is about safeguarding the marine environment. all the life on earth damages the environment for its survival. Only humans can do something about it voluntarily being at the top of the life chain. And they have to, because they are the only non-endangered species on the planet-atleast for the time being. That means every human.no human o earth can shun responsibility towards the environment. life on our planet depends on the oceans. Oceans are also major source of food and employment and balance of trade. in short, the ocean are highly productive system which continuosly recycles the chemicals necessary for living organisms to service. however, development in many says is now threatening the ocean and other seas. the threats are memories the unmanaged growth of cities with their large-scale dumping of row sewage, intensive agricultural practices leading to run off of fertilizers and feedlot waste; marine transportation; the destruction of forest and rivers brain development are among the assaults. although the ocean are vast, they are not infinite in their resources or in what they are able
