Can people really make a living off minimum wage? A family of four with only one supporter cannot provide their all for the family with the amount of money they make at a minimum wage paid job. The government alone thinks minimum wage isn't enough to support anybody either, so with that, the minimum wage will increase until it reaches its maximum amount. It's been proven that somebody who works full time with a minimum wage paid job just to support a family of four will still end up making less than the “poverty line”. In the last year, people have been putting up a fight to convince the government to raise the minimum wage up to $15, with officials not on board, they have thought of a better solution to satisfy the public. The minimum wage has been an all-time topic that people argue about. Whether discussing or arguing that it is too low, or that it is too high. A majority of the world does believe that the government gave it to them “easy”, as in the wage it’s at now is too much. But that is false.
