North Korea is an imaginable country. You can't think, say, wear, or do what you want. There aren't any sources to the outside world. There is only one channel of tv. There is only one web in the Internet. You won't have your average kids book or your average romance movie. Every source the is used as propaganda. Propaganda that influences people to have hatred towards other countries. It's the kind of country that persecutes people for making unauthorized phone calls out of state. There are children, parents, grandparents being tormented in concentration camps as I speak. Some North Koreans are abducted before they learn the word freedom. Right now North Koreans are fighting and begging for freedom.
Some refugees have the chance to acquire freedom; but it's not always so bright on the other side. Since the easiest way out of North Korea is the river dividing North Korea and China; refugees will most likely use that route to escape. You would think from there on you're free; but is not that simple. They have to get by with little or no money at all, once they are in a new country. Well when you are born and taught to do something you’ll keep doing it for the rest of your life. Just like we are taught to tie our shoes and to wear clothes everyday. North Koreans are taught to praise the dictator. They are taught not to think bad about the dictator , and especially to never speak bad about him. Every house, community centers, and even transportation vehicle has the picture of Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-Un. Each day everyone must praise and pray to the dictator. From day one that they are born they are taught to think of us as the enemy. If the day that North Korea becomes a republic democracy ever comes and we try to help them, they would probably think that we are trying to attack them. they would think that because of all the brainwashing they went
