Police Body Cameras has always been the talk of the town many a good amount of years. Many people are having almost the same or rather similar problems with the alleged 'professionally trained' officers and the work, but are they really doing a good job?? Will there be a change of their distasteful behavior?? i hope and pray so though.
We have heard a numerous amount of abuse, lost of lives, malicious behavior, bigotry etc about Police Officers since the year 2011. Police dashboard cameras have always been in use by some law enforcement agencies since the mid 1990s . The shooting death of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri, in August 2014, and a monumental jury's decision to not indict the police officer involved in that shooting, many protests grew across the country and communities, leaders called for all the police officers to be strapped with their body cameras. In the eyes of the judgmental public, the unfavorable comparison of the officers' ineluctable flawed memories to the video footage will most likely be discern as a threat, an enemy. Mostly dreadful predictions of deceitful reporting fail to appreciate the overall potential of this advanced revolution to elevate the policing to a new level,. The video footage will help the police superiors to have a reliable supervision and disciplining them to condemn the bad police work and commend the good. In the end, the use of body cameras should both reduce the use of force and lessen the need and the opportunity to lie about it.
