After amassing different victories from almost all of the sporting events in the Rio Olympics 2016, we all can agree that the Unites States of America delegates can just go back home with pride brimming over their heads. They all have the reasons to be proud as they bested out other well-determined athletes from all over the globe and figuratively brought home tons of bacon. USA Sports Team is undoubtedly the first placers of the Rio Olympics 2016 and their passion, well-learnt skills and undying attempt to make their country paraded on global news paid off quite magnificently. The USA powerhouse can now fly back home floating in cloud nine, or would really they be?
At the running medal tally, United States of America was able to cap a total of 93 Olympic Medals---30 Golds, 32 Silvers and 31 Bronzes. With notable contributions from this year’s Olympic superstars such as Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky and Michael Phelps, the country soared high and expanded the gap with second placer Great Britain currently at 51 medal counts. If you’re thinking that Phelps, Biles or Ledecky would pass immigration unscathed then you’re definitely wrong! The Olympic Medals that they have been awarded to and the cash bonuses accompanying it will never get pass a concept called taxes.
