Genes That Fit Just Right “Stem cells are located throughout our bodies, like a reserve army offering regeneration and repair.” Samantha Bresnahan(). Stem Cell Research should be continued because of the life prolonging benefits it is having on the human race. The success of cloning human embryos has increased immensely over the last sixteen years. There is an extremely strong belief that it is a doctor's duty to explore any and all possibilities when finding cures to various diseases. This includes the possibilities researching and producing stem cells holds. A medical researchers job is to find cures for diseases and do their best to prolong lives and through using stem cells and the chances of that have increased. Time after time, families are scrambling for the doctors to find a solution as to what can be done to save or improve upon their loved ones life. While it is still fairly new in public practices, stem cell research is being used to cure what we thought to be incurable diseases. “Scientists mean to use these cells to further the research into several diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and diabetes.” (Cloning Embryos, Arnold). Stem cells are cutting back on the amount of faulty genetics and preventing the continuation of those diseases within bloodlines, saving lives using the research scientists are receiving from donated embryonic cells
