As we all know, cigarette addiction is not healthy and can lead to several problems such as lung failure and cancer. There are many products out there that are designed to help people quit smoking but is it really that easy? Smoking has a lot to do with the mind, but it isn't safe to assume that everyone's mind is similar. It’s harder for people with mental health issues to quit smoking cigarettes. Things like stress and anxiety or even depression can cause someone to smoke, but people with those issues have a difficult time quitting and must find treatments that fit them best to put an end to the unhealthy habit.

Shanita Ashworth is a forty six year old woman from East Orange, New Jersey. She is married with four kind and two year ago she decided to quit smoking. However, one research study found that only about 8% of smokers attend formal smoking cessation programs. Acupuncture is an ancient healing medical art which has flourished in China for more than 25 centuries. Acupuncture involves the stimulation of certain meridian points on the human body by the insertion of needles. This method popular in smoking cessation because it can relieve stress and also help with smoking withdrawal symptoms (Zieske, L. 1997). There are other options like E-cigarettes and nicotine patches but acupuncture is more natural. It is less popular but it helps with the psychological
